Hi, we're Jarrod and Anita, homeschooling parents of four, Christ followers, and big fans of great tasting, healthy food.
For years we tried exercising more and eating the foods we thought were healthy, like free range, cage free, no hormone added "naturalโ and โcleanโ foods, and yet we both found ourselves feeling the increasing effects of what we thought were changes that come with age or bad genes.
We fought inflammation, ached daily, lacked energy, gained unwanted pounds, and faced a growing list of medical problems that kept us from living the full, active lives we desperately wanted.
Even though we are both health professionals, we werenโt finding answers the traditional route, as it focuses on treating symptoms rather than addressing the root cause of disease.
We knew things had to change because there were so many things we wanted to accomplish and experience in life. It's not just about living long, we want to live well!
We dug into the nutrition research and created the system of simple plant-based meal strategies we could stick with, a lifestyle that makes feeling great each day quick, easy, and enjoyable, and weโre here to share it with you!
