Before WBZ-TV became the PMC's official media partner, news anchor Lisa Hughes was a new rider considering if she would be able to finish her first PMC (broken arm and all). Now in her 10th year, Lisa has raised nearly $100,000 for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and is one of the amazing team at WBZ helping tell the PMC's story. The PMC Living Proof® community is made up of riders and volunteers who are undergoing cancer treatment or were previously treated – Living Proof of the progress made in supporting cancer research and treatment. Living Proof riders and volunteers are celebrated during PMC weekend at Mass Maritime Academy in Bourne on Saturday and at Babson College in Wellesley on Sunday.
