Episode 71: Recognizing Our Roles Vs. Identity
4/29/2026
How we doin' good people? On this episode, join me on the couch as we unpack the difference between what we do and who we are along with how it can all get muddled together if we aren't intentional. Showing up as ourselves in this world can be draining when we frame all that we are to do around the never-ending rotation of hats we wear. If you can relate, drop a comment and share how roles and identity have shown up in your life.

Episode 62: Be Anxious For Nothing
4/15/2026
How you doin' good people? We are back on the couch and this episode I share my heart about how anxiety and faith have been showing up in my life. Sometimes it's the smallest things that feel like that are pushing us over the edge or to our wits end. The truth is, surrender and grace make all the difference in what comes after we get those internal signals that we've reached our operating capacity. We all have our valley and hilltop moments, that's life but how we view them makes all the difference. I hope you are encouraged and if you can relate, be gentle with yourself. We can do hard things well!

How we doin' good people?! New year brings new shift and while it has been what seems like forever, it's time to get caught up. From fall to winter, and approaching spring the seasons of nature are steady reminders of time passing. I look forward to sharing the highs, lows and in between moments from the past few months and hopefully encouraging you all to keep moving through whatever season of life you may be in. Some of them are rougher than Fred Flintstone's feet but we survive them all! Thank you for joining me on the couch, I missed y'all!

Season 8: Episode 1
11/17/2025
How we doing good people?
It has been a while since we've been on the couch together. From spring to fall, so much has happened and many lessons have been learned. This episode and maybe a few others that follow aren't as jazzy as past episodes. This new season, represents new beginnings (the biblical numerology for the number 8) and we will walk through how powerful that is in this current chapter of life. I look forward to moving through them now that I've made it to the other side. I hope you will stick with me (even though I haven't been the most consistent) because this space is precious for me. Sometimes, even in the best of relationships there are times when you don't connect often but you're able to pick up where you left off...let's pick back up!

Join me on the couch for this revelation and the immense gratitude I have for every part that led here.

BRIEF INTERMISSION
2/11/2025
How we doin good people?!
It has been a whirlwind of sickness, recovery and new germs rotating through our home for about three weeks. I've been in mom mode trying to recover while also being a professional and attempting some semblance of social life. That said, the next episodes are coming. We have a couple more Mommy Couch Confession After Dark couch chats before we return to regularly scheduled programming but I wanted to assure you, they are coming. Next up is a two-part interview discussion intimacy post divorce. I can't wait to share it with you, just need a little grace to get it from my computer storage to your ears. We shall be together soon on the couch!

12/30/2024
How we doing good people? Happy last Monday of 2024, we are mere days away from a new year and the introduction of the halfway mark through this decade! Can you believe it? I can't wrap my mind around how fast time is moving. This time period between the holidays and new year tends to be one of reflection and for me some old goals rose to the surface. Join me on the couch as I preview how the reemergence of who I thought I'd be as a professional almost 20 years ago is making an appearance in real-time. Today's episode is short and sweet and I hope you'll join me for the series to come in 2025!

Season 7: Episode 3- Black Men, Thank You
12/23/2024
How we doing good people? On this episode, I wanted to give flowers and love to the amazing Black men in my life. There is no world without men and my village is full of amazing, melanated men who deserve to be recognized. Before this year ended, I wanted to make space to honor the menfolk who add as much to my life as the phenomenal women I'm surrounded by.

Season 7:Episode 2- Begin to Release
12/16/2024
How we doing good people? Sometimes starting over isn't the hard part, the struggle is accepting that you had to start over and finding your footing as you do. In this quick solo episode I explore why even after a hard time starting (or restarting) I stay committed to what I'm being called to. That commitment may look different for us all but in this precious journey we call life, the alternative to walk away takes more effort than saying yes to the pull in your heart.

Episode #12-Mental Health and the Holidays
12/28/2020
Join me on the couch with my friend, Thy Guintivano, as we discuss the realities surrounding not so "perfect" holiday gatherings. As we come off the heels of Christmas, many didn't have a gathering that was full of fellowship and memories and it wasn't just because of COVID. As Thy shares her experiences with family and mental health, we acknowledge that showing up for yourself and setting boundaries are some of the best gifts you can give yourself.
