Since the principles are literally ancient, and so clearly formed the basis for the Common Law in England, and then were understood, likewise, by the Founders in the united States as the basis for the most fundamental elements of the Constitution -- why are they no longer even taught? Why do the lawyers liars in the DC Swamp evidently disregard their contracts, their duties as supposed servants of THEIR masters, the American people, and even their oaths? And that lack of trust - based on failure - now pervades virtually every institution. We see where it has led. But there is more to this story, in particular. Abraham, while he was literally blessed in "all things," and live a long life, 'full of days,' and is literally regarded as the Father of our Faith, did not see the fulfillment of the primary promises YHVH gave him. He was told they would spend time in 'bondage,' but did not see them multiply as the stars in the heavens. And the only land he actually owned during his own life was that burial ground. And yet he KNEW, and saw - just as clearly as he saw the Son of Promise - that those promises would come to pass. So do we. But from a different perspective, that of knowing all of this has been reserved, put in place, and, yes, done, for us. Which gives us an obligation. Because ALL of these fundamental principles that underlie ALL of society, are based on Trust. In ourselves, to obey, in others, to do as they agree, and in Yahuah, to carry out His will, "on earth, as it is in heaven." Parsha "Noach" (Genesis 6:9-11:32) is actually the second, and concluding part of the story of the "days of Noah," and is the reading that contains the most well-known (and also sometimes LEAST known!) elements of the story of The Flood. But there's more, too, because it also includes the "Tower of Babel," and the intro to the first of the Patriarchs. But if we've learned anything about "investigations" involving the Ubiquitous Lone Gunman - it's that they LIE.

Parsha "Ki Tavo" (Deuteronomy (26:1-29:8) is almost certainly the most famous, and foreboding, set of blessings and cursings in the Bible. But, notably, it begins with "when you have come into the land," and a set of instructions, such as the 'Bikkurim' or offerings of First Fruits, that are to take place there. But we remain in exile, have been "shalach"-ed for cause. So what does that mean about those curses? But it begins with an observation: The plagues are certainly - undeniably - "well deserved," not just by the US, but the world. And many, at least, already seem to be in progress. Yet we are told, repeatedly, in Scripture, to "have no fellowship," with the unfruitful works of darkness. To "flee from idolatry." And not to 'keep company' with, or even eat with, the kind of people who commit the kind of perversions we routinely see promoted on CNN. Or taught in the public 'schools.' Mark argues that we have been told to "come out of her," to not participate with those sins, so as to - hopefully - avoid the promised plagues. The prophet Amos tells us that, unless they are agreed, it's difficult for two people to "walk together." So, do those plagues in Deuteronomy 28 still apply? Or not? Isn't it relevant that the FIRST three plagues in Egypt hit everyone? But, during the fourth, of flies, YHVH "put a difference," made a distinction, between the pagan Egyptians and His people? The promised plagues are here, and we're already in exile. So what now? Parsha "Shoftim" (Deuteronomy 16:18 - 21:9) may be the most utterly "timely" commentary on the World Today, and what is so UTTERLY WRONG -- given events of the last week -- that we could ask for. If there was ever a parsha that helps clarify what it must mean to "come out of her," and why it is now a matter of life and death - this is it! There are a myriad of important themes in here. But, ultimately, they all relate to just one: 'They' HATE YHVH. WARNING: This exposition will no doubt offend some. It should.
