Episode 12: The Hills Have Eyes (1977)
7/21/2019
We apologize for another hiatus, due to vacation plans and scheduling issues, we weren't able to line things up any sooner.
Today's film is probably one of the weakest link in our series of exploitation sleaze, a film akin to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, yet clearly inferior on every crucial aspect. It's a shame that there wasn't quite enough for us to talk about. I think the worst part of this experience that it wasn't even in the so-bad-it's-good sweet spot either.

Episode 11: Escape from New York (1981)
6/23/2019
Escape from New York is one of those action films that you don't forget. For me, it's up there with films like The Terminator and The Matrix.
...Except it's underrated as hell.

Episode 10: Mad Max (1979)
6/9/2019
The original Mad Max trilogy played a big role in kick-starting the post-apocalyptic subgenre. In this episode, we're taking a look at the humble beginnings of the series in Mel Gibson's first major starring role.

Episode 9: Evil Dead II (1987)
5/26/2019
After missing last week due to final exams, we're finally back and groovier than ever as we take a look at Evil Dead II. Unsurprisingly, I sound like a runny-nosed fool yet again.

Episode 8: Assault on Precinct 13 (1976)
5/5/2019
A wonderful time to be sick again, just in time for this episode as we look at John Carpenter's 2nd film, Assault on Precinct 13.

Episode 7: Chopping Mall (1986)
4/20/2019
In today's episode we look at the camp classic, Chopping Mall from Roger Corman's Concord Pictures. Behind all the typical sleaze of this film lies a surprisingly decent cast of characters with an adorable main couple.

Episode 6: The Evil Dead (1981)
4/7/2019
J O I N U S in this episode as we take a look at Sam Raimi's shoestring budget legend, The Evil Dead. This brutal piece of cinema has been a big inspiration for me (Alex) personally, because it shows how an indie film from a bunch of nobodies can become such a cult sensation and launch careers of a much bigger scope.

Episode 3: Suspiria (1977)
2/24/2019
Suspiria is a film that helps show that exploitation cinema is an art just as the rest of cinema. Dario Argento's giallo classic is the pinnacle of pure Italian artistry. As you can tell, many instances of gushing will ensue this episode.

Episode 2: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
2/10/2019
It didn't take long for us to finally explore the 70s horror-exploitation classic, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. Come and watch us gush on this 16mm beauty, discuss the experience, and just laugh our asses off.
