ARE WE THE DROIDS YOUR LOOKING FOR? We certainly hope so! Godlike Productions is not a label as such, its more a community of producers whom many of which are based or originated from Perth West Australia. Perth is known to be the most isolated capital city in the world. We have come to believe that this makes it a special place for art of all kinds to flourish in unique ways. The sounds you will find here are from a selection of the electronic based audio producers that stand out for creating a sound of their own rather than follow genres/trends looking for fast tracks into a increasingly rigid, over saturated and faceless dance market. Many tracks on offer here are great on headphones or your lounge room stereo system as they are at home on a dance floor. Many reflect the art of synthesis, resampling and effects trickery which take the listener thru a journey of sound. Some are experiments revealing hidden layers and undiscovered textures with repeat listens. Most of the tracks found here are freely downloadable to encourage you to bring the sounds out from the cloud and into your personal listening spaces. The artists here were born to do this and we would love to add other unique sounds from the rest of the world. For us to hear your work share a track or two with us, with a personalized message. some bounces from MIXTIKL iOS app from loops created from various iOS groove boxes, synths, fx and gizmos. these bounces and probably a bunch more will end up having the best bits cut from them to make an arrangement for a approx 20-25min track, like a mini-mix set within a track. i have a bunch of things that i had been playing with at the time of compiling the last double album that seem to want to go in a similar direction and have diverted me from finishing that double album as some tracks from that may get added to and reprocessed to make again longer journeys like i plan with these bounces. everything in its right place......
