Life’s Work: A Podcast About Laura Stevenson’s ‘Sit Resist’” is a multi-part limited series co-produced by Better Yet and Don Giovanni about the 2011 sophomore album by NY songwriter Laura Stevenson. It is also an oral history of the late 2000s to early 2010s Brooklyn DIY scene, and how the reverberations of one album, the people that created it, and the scene it came out of, can offer comfort and inspire unknown numbers of people in its wake. Sit Resist is available in a new expanded edition, remastered at Abbey Road, with a bonus disc of unheard b-sides, outtakes, demo, and live recordings.
