This Sunday, Sue and Kendra are back to emcee the 13th Annual Step up for Colleen 5k in honor of Danvers High School teacher Colleen Ritzer who tragically lost her life in 2013. Colleen's mom, Peggie was on the show to talk about the event and the Colleen E. Ritzer Memorial Scholarship. To date, the scholarship has granted over $675,000 to aspiring teachers.

Sue and Kendra talked with Candace Perreault, Co-Founder of Rock the Spectrum Foundation. Since launching in 2016 alongside Katie Billingsley and Keri McGloin, the foundation has raised over half a million dollars to support families with children on the spectrum—funding things like assistive devices, specialized swim lessons and inclusive sports programs. They recently launched their first-ever Spectrum of Opportunity Scholarship: a $10,000 scholarship for 2026 and 2027 to support multiple recipients who are pursuing and advancing careers in the special needs field.

Sue discovered this morning that Kendra doesn't have any nightstands next to her bed. Kendra can't believe that Sue has a tall glass of water, a few books, her glasses, a lamp, tissues, Advil and a sound machine right next to her at all times.
