Very Relaxing Ambient Noise. We really just enjoy listening to nothing. Sounds of nature, sounds of the city. These are the sonic events we experience everyday in our lives, tuned in a way to create soothing noise to bathe your mind. We use a Sony PCM D-50 recorder and an Olympus LS-10 to record our environments, in addition to Soma Synths' Ether (read more about it here: https://somasynths.com/ether/) #brownnoise #whitenoise #concentration #relaxation

THIS ONE'S A TRIP. . . BIG MACHINE SOUNDS. . . LOTS OF WATER

8/24/2022
MIGHT NOT BE BEST THING FOR SLEEPING I find this relaxing, meditative as well as jarring at times. It was fun to edit, and I'm enjoying listening to this. It's a trip, and leaves me feeling clearer and more relaxed. Or maybe it's just me. Enjoy. The story here is taking us on a ride on a ferry in NYC, from Manhattan to Brooklyn, and then to a park on the east river on the Williamsburg side, all against the backdrop of a recording of the ocean pulling through rocks on a small island in Alaska. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/sonic-event/support

Alaskan Tide, Rocks and Rain

7/26/2022
A little quick one here. This was made with the Sony PCM-D50 near Seward, Alaska on a small island looking out at the ocean. The tide was pulling through a mess of stones that made this nice hollow clanging sound that ends up being soothing to the ears. Good for a quick meditation on the train or just a mid-day calm down. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/sonic-event/support

Rain in June

6/2/2022
Rain in June, complete with faint sounds of Water Street in Manhattan. This was recorded using an old Made in Taiwan school tape recorder and my Sony PCM-D50. The tracks are layered on top of each other and left mostly unmixed. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/sonic-event/support
