Spring Into Action with the HOTTEST Circuit Anthems of the Season

4/12/2026
Estimated reading time: 3 minutes Party Favorz is back a week earlier than expected with Spring Edition 2026 featuring the hottest circuit anthems of the season. As mentioned before, new releases have been pretty thin lately, but this set pulls together the best of what’s out there right now. Rather than stretching things out, the focus stays tight. No filler. Just a solid run of tracks that actually deliver. A Shift Toward Big Room Circuit Energy Spring Edition 2026 pulls back from the progressive sound I usually lean into and goes straight for big room circuit tribal house for most of the set. It hits harder right out of the gate. The energy stays up, the drums drive everything forward, and there’s no unnecessary slowdown. This is more about impact than finesse, but it still holds together the way it should. Built for Movement This isn’t a chill set. It’s built to keep you moving. Whether you’re working out or just need something with a steady push, this mix delivers. The pacing stays consistent and doesn’t wander. Tracks are given enough room to land, but nothing drags. Making the Most of a Thin Release Cycle Let’s be real — releases have been pretty thin lately. That made this one tougher to pull together. So instead of forcing variety, I stuck with what’s actually working right now. That’s why Spring Edition 2026 leans heavily into circuit and big room sounds. They bring the energy and hold up across the mix. No filler. Just a straight run from start to finish. I’ll be taking a few weeks off to start my AI certification through Google while also working on the tracklist for the next BackSpin set featuring Millennial dance classics. In the meantime, I’ve noticed a lot of traffic going back to older releases, especially from the Top 20 chart. That tells me folks are still hungry for these mixes. I’m keeping this one short and will be back in early May. Until the next time...ENJOY! Funky House Sessions Spring 2026 | House, Disco & Gospel House Mix

4/4/2026
Estimated reading time: 3 minutes Happy Easter for those celebrating over the Passover weekend. I wasn’t planning to drop Funky House Sessions Spring 2026, but I figured I’d go ahead and release it early. It frees me up to start working on the next Circuit & Anthems set, which is taking more time than usual since finding solid tracks has become a chore. Gospel House With a Disco Core This episode leans heavily into Gospel House and gets pretty soulful at times, while still holding onto that Disco House backbone. There are still plenty of big-room Disco House tracks in the middle of the set, so it delivers where it counts. That said, this one does run a little different than the usual Funky House Sessions. Still, if you’re into real house music, this should land just fine. What’s Next I’ll be working on the next Spring Edition for 2026, but it’ll take a couple of weeks before it drops. Most of that time will be spent digging for tracks that actually make the cut. Until the next time...ENJOY! The BIGGEST Dance Party Mix for Spring Break 2026 Vol. 2 | Club Fusion Mix

3/28/2026
Estimated reading time: 4 minutes Party Favorz rolled out of bed at 4:00 AM only to find it chilly AF outside. Not exactly what you expect when you’re gearing up for Spring Break vibes. While Georgia weather can be unpredictable, this one caught us off guard since the forecast was pointing warmer. Still, that kind of shift is part of the deal this time of year. So we’re rolling with it. We’re bringing you Spring Break 2026 Vol. 2, the next chapter in this year’s series, built to fuel those hotel parties and late-night sessions when things don’t quite go as planned—but end up better because of it. We’re not going to break down every track here. This is one of those sets that’s better experienced straight through. That said, there are a couple of moments that deserve a quick spotlight. Afro House That Grabs You Fast Juany Bravo, Randoree, and High Notes come through with “Ma Fesh Ex”—or what we're calling the “My Fish Eggs” track. The lyrics? Yeah, good luck figuring those out. But honestly, that’s not the point. This track is catchy AF. Once that hook hits, it sticks. The groove pulls you in and doesn’t let go. It’s a perfect example of why Afro House continues to dominate right now. It’s all about rhythm, flow, and getting lost in the beat rather than overthinking what you’re hearing. https://youtu.be/r2GyFqFFzVk?si=G1eLJzET00QDQRi8 A Throwback That Hits Right Then there’s the 80s remake of “I Can’t Wait” by Bob Sinclar and Kiesza. We weren’t expecting this one, but it lands exactly where it needs to. The original is already iconic, so there’s always risk in touching it. But this version works. Bob Sinclar brings a clean, modern house edge, while Kiesza delivers vocals that feel both nostalgic and current. And honestly, we need more Kiesza. She’s too good to be sitting on the sidelines, and this track is a reminder of just how strong she is. Hopefully, this leads to more releases because she’s still got it. https://youtu.be/naCvEJABUyc?si=vYl2ez20d3vlFMC0 Built for Real Spring Break Energy This Biggest Dance Party Mix for Spring Break 2026 keeps it simple. It’s built to move and keep the energy locked from start to finish. No filler. No downtime. Just a straight run that hits when it needs to and keeps the party going. What’s Next for Party Favorz? What’s next is still up in the air. It could be a Funky House set or the Spring Edition 2026 for the circuit crowd. We’ll see how that plays out. We're also pondering a possible Trance mix before the end of May. Not classics—modern Trance that we haven’t touched but probably should have by now. So keep your radar up because you never know what we plan on delivering. Until the next time...ENJOY! Biggest Dance Party Mix for Spring Break 2026 | Club Fusion Mix

3/27/2026
Key Takeaways Party Favorz releases the biggest dance party mix for Spring Break 2026, featuring the latest house music selections. The mix includes updated throwbacks and shifts genres, creating a dynamic experience for listeners. This club fusion mix utilizes longer transitions for a smoother DJ mix set that builds energy. Get ready for Volume 2 dropping Saturday, perfect for keeping the party going in your hotel room. Party Favorz is back with the biggest dance party mix for Spring Break. Volume 1 of our annual series is loaded with the latest house music mix selections, along with some of the biggest dance songs of the year so far. We also threw in a handful of throwbacks that have been updated for today’s floors, giving longtime listeners that hit of nostalgia without slowing things down. This time, we went in a different direction with the mixing. Instead of the quick cuts we’ve leaned on for years, this club fusion mix lets the transitions breathe. That style goes back to the late ’90s and early 2000s, and with producers now building longer intros and outros again, it felt like the right move. The result is a smoother, more intentional DJ mix set that builds energy instead of rushing through it. Since this set pulls from Afro House, Latin House, House, Techno, and Tech House, don’t expect every track to follow the same path. That’s by design. This is a dance music podcast built for the floor, not for predictability. The shifts keep things interesting and the energy stays locked in from start to finish. Fair warning — these mixes are a little raw. Between doctor appointments, wound care, physical therapy, and even surgery slowing things down, there wasn’t time to polish every edge. You may catch a few imperfections, but that’s part of what makes this set feel real. Volume 2 drops Saturday. Once that lands, you may not even bother leaving your hotel room — just bring the party to you. These sets hit that hard. Until the next time...ENJOY! Top Dance Songs 2025: Volume 2

1/4/2026
Estimated reading time: 6 minutes Folks, I've been in an exreme pain with no relief and decided to let AI take the reigns. While it's a bit heavy handed, it does sum up this volume really well. I'm in need of a much deserved and extended break. I'll be back by the end of January or early February. Top Dance Songs of 2025 Vol. II: The Year Tightens Its Grip on the Dancefloor Volume 2 of Top Dance Songs of 2025 lands with a very different energy than the opening chapter. Where Vol. I introduced the shape of the year, this set confirms it. The middle stretch of 2025 leans deeper into groove, emotion, and vocal-driven hooks that work just as well at sunrise as they do at peak hour. There’s also a noticeable shift. Fewer throwaway tracks. More intent. Producers focused on longevity rather than chasing quick viral moments. As a result, Top Dance Songs of 2025 Vol. II feels cohesive, confident, and built for repeat listens. A Strong Opening That Sets the Mood Jonas Blue & Malive kick things off with Edge Of Desire, a smooth builder that balances melody with restraint. It doesn’t rush. That tone continues with Calvin Harris and Jessie Reyez on Ocean, where Calvin leans back into emotional songwriting without losing club weight. The Ultimate Spring Break Dance Party Mix 2024! Top Dance Songs 2025: Our Year-End Review Iconic 90s Dance Hits: Ultimate House Classics from 1994-1995 - Vol. 2 90s House Classics 1994 - 1995 Vol. 3: Nostalgia Meets the Dance Floors Old School House Music: 90s Club Anthems from 1994-1995 - Vol. 1 John Summit’s presence is immediate. Light Years featuring Inéz opens the door to the melodic side of his catalog this year. It’s followed later by Crystallized and Palm Of My Hands, reinforcing how deeply his sound is shaping Top Dance Songs of 2025 across multiple lanes. Chrystal’s The Days in the NOTION extended remix brings early-2000s euphoria into a modern frame. It hits that sweet spot between nostalgia and now. Vocal Tracks Doing the Heavy Lifting Vocals matter more in this volume. James Hype’s Waterfalls delivers bounce and clarity, while Zerb, Ty Dolla $ign, and Wiz Khalifa’s Location gets a darker, more hypnotic edge thanks to the Agents Of Time remix. Calvin Harris returns with Blessings, featuring Clementine Douglas, who quietly becomes one of the defining voices of Top Dance Songs of 2025. She also shines later alongside Sonny Fodera on Tell Me, adding continuity and warmth to the set. David Guetta’s triple appearance shows range. Gone Gone Gone (Done Done Done) with Teddy Swims and Tones And I leans pop-forward but stays functional. If (A Better World) with Cedric Gervais taps into classic Guetta tension. Together with Hypaton and Bonnie Tyler surprises with its emotional pull. Underground Energy Meets Mainstage Polish D.O.D’s Wrap Yourself Around Me keeps things playful, while Rivo’s Last Night in the Korolova remix adds late-night drama. Cloonee’s Stephanie (HNTR remix) brings gritty tech-house swagger that resets the room. SIDEPIECE delivers one of the cleanest hooks in the set with Cry For You. It’s simple. It works. Chris Lake appears twice and makes both count. Ease My Mind with Abel Balder stays smooth, while Toxic with Ragie Ban brings sharper edges. Mau P’s The Less I Know The Better continues his streak of minimal, effective club tools. Max Dean, Luke Dean, and Locky’s Can’t Decide keeps that momentum rolling. Remakes, Reworks, and Smart Risks Felix Jaehn and SHOUSE’s Walk With Me leans into communal energy, while Alok and Alan Fitzpatrick reframe Friday, I’m In Luv with respect rather than gimmicks. Disco Lines and Tinashe’s No Broke Boys brings bounce and attitude. Fred Again, Skepta, and PlaqueboyMax’s Victory Lap (The Hills Remix Dirty) adds grit that cuts through the polish elsewhere. Dom Dolla’s Dreamin featuring Daya is one of the strongest crossover moments in Top Dance Songs of 2025, bridging vocal emotion and club pressure without compromise. Top Dance Songs 2025: Our Year-End Review

12/28/2025
Estimated reading time: 6 minutes We’ve officially reached the pinnacle of the Top Dance and Club songs for 2025, and the result is… complicated. While the year wasn’t devoid of quality, it landed short of expectations when viewed as a whole. There were standout records. There were undeniable earworms. However, the depth simply wasn’t there. Party Favorz is closing out the year with just two volumes instead of the usual three or four. That decision wasn’t arbitrary. Typically, the year-end list overflows with must-have club records, forcing careful balance across multiple releases. This time, that pressure never arrived. Volume 2 may end up slightly longer—or not. That call will be made once the final mix comes together. Either way, the numbers told a clear story. The Songs That Carried 2025 To be fair, 2025 did deliver several massive Dance and Club songs that refused to leave our heads. Tracks like Don’t Wake Me Up, Destiny, Coming Up, Beautiful People, Dior, Hypnotized, Blessings, The Days, Stephanie, Say My Name, No Broke Boys, Dreamin’, and Tell Me were all high-rotation records with real staying power. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Us-4C6Bz5nQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QcgxGxk1kQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2fSojJqyNY Each of these songs qualifies as an earworm in the purest sense. They connected quickly. They tested well on the floor. They held up across repeated listens. Yet even with those highlights, the overall list felt thinner than what’s typical for a year-end roundup. That reality forced a rare adjustment. Adjusting the Bar for a Changing Market Historically, Party Favorz has relied on combined YouTube and Spotify streaming totals, supplemented by Beatport Top 10 entries that may not dominate mainstream platforms. That approach usually paints a complete picture of the year. In 2025, however, the mega-streaming hits were fewer and farther between. To round out the Top Dance Songs of 2025, the qualification threshold was lowered to one million combined streams. That wasn’t a compromise in taste. Instead, it acknowledged a shifting landscape where listener attention is more fragmented than ever. With more genre-specific releases competing for smaller slices of the audience, fewer tracks reached those runaway numbers we once took for granted. The Ultimate Spring Break Dance Party Mix 2024! The Biggest Dance Songs of 2025 ...So Far! | Catch-Up 2025 The Season's HOTTEST Dance Club Songs: Jingle Electric 2021 Catch-Up 2024 Volume II: The Biggest Dance Club Songs of the Year…So Far! Top Dance Club Songs of the Year 2024 Volume I | The Year's Biggest Bangers! [Expanded] In the end, selection came down to resonance. Which songs stuck? Which records translated across clubs, playlists, and repeat plays? Judged by that metric, this list still delivers. Why John Summit Dominated the Year One thing listeners will immediately notice across both volumes is the heavy presence of John Summit. That wasn’t favoritism—it was math. Summit continues to generate reliable streaming numbers while actively pushing beyond his comfort zone. Rather than repeating past success, he’s collaborating with established vocalists and artists who haven’t necessarily crossed into the mainstream. That approach results in original records that feel intentional rather than formulaic. Yes, he could easily deliver another “Shiver.” Instead, he’s expanding his range. Along the way, Summit has also revisited classics like Sweet Disposition, Silence, and I Wanna Go, using them as connective tissue between generations. Between those moments, he released tracks such as Palm of My Hands, Focus, and Light Years, which showcase genuine artistic growth while giving his live sets far more dimension. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2jQjvNtawA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hizmDQ83kRI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNHfPqti1V8 Other Artists Who Defined the Year Beyond Summit, several names consistently showed up in the data. Holiday Edition 2025: Sleigh the Night with Circuit Anthems & Tribal House Beats

12/13/2025
Estimated reading time: 6 minutes Party Favorz Holiday Edition 2025: Sleigh the Night Party Favorz returns with our annual Holiday Edition 2025 Circuit Anthems, a high-energy release built on Tribal House beats and peak-hour momentum that sleighs the night from start to finish. This year’s Holiday Edition is designed to keep the party moving long after the lights go out, delivering a powerful blend of modern circuit anthems and driving tribal rhythms. As always, this release reflects what Party Favorz does best: staying ahead of the curve while honoring the tracks and artists that move dance floors worldwide. A Stacked Roster of Circuit and Tribal Heavyweights Holiday Edition 2025 features an impressive lineup of DJs and producers who continue to shape the modern circuit and tribal sound. You’ll hear standout contributions from Danny Verde, Dario Xavier, Leanh, José Spinnin Cortes, Edson Pride, Dirty Disco, Heriqmoraes, Eick Ibiza, Guy Scheiman, Nick Harvey, and many more. Each artist brings their own signature energy, but together they form a cohesive journey that balances relentless rhythm with emotional lift. This is the kind of set built for packed dance floors, late-night sessions, and hands-in-the-air moments that don’t fade once the night peaks. Holiday Edition 2024: Tribal Beats To Sleigh Your Holidays [Updated] The Party Favorz Annual Fundraiser and Other News I Need Your Help Putting on the Brakes! Holiday Edition 2009 Volume 1 Classic Songs, Reimagined for Today’s Dance Floor One of the defining strengths of Holiday Edition 2025 is how it bridges generations of dance music. Several iconic songs are reworked into modern club weapons while preserving the heart that made them classics in the first place. Robyn’s “With Every Heartbeat” gets a fresh and emotional update courtesy of Manuel De Diego, GSP, and Nalaya, giving the track new life within a circuit framework. The Temper Trap’s “Sweet Disposition” is beautifully retold by Leanh, Nikki Valentine, and Pedro Arms, transforming an indie staple into a soaring club moment. Nick Harvey teams up with Audrey Callahan on the powerful anthem “No More Heartache,” delivering one of the set’s most emotionally charged highlights. Meanwhile, ADÉLA’s breakthrough track “SexOnTheBeat” brings a sharp, contemporary edge that fits seamlessly alongside the more familiar reworks. You’ll also hear major crowd favorites like “Man I Need” by Olivia Dean, the enduring classic “Happiness” by Alexis Jordan, “Genie in a Bottle” by Christina Aguilera, and Taylor Swift’s latest “The Fate of Ophelia,” all woven into the mix with purpose and precision. A Smart Whitney Tribute That Hits Hard One of the most talked-about moments in the set is the clever reimagining of Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.” Reworked as a duet featuring the talented Calum Scott and remixed by Dirty Disco, this version strikes the perfect balance between nostalgia and modern circuit intensity. It’s respectful. It’s uplifting. And it’s guaranteed to send hands into the air when it hits its stride. The Final Remix Drop Before Year-End Rankings Holiday Edition 2025 marks our final release of new remixes before shifting focus to our annual roundup of the Top Dance Songs of the Year. That series will begin rolling out in the final weeks of December, with the goal of wrapping everything up before New Year’s Eve. If timing pushes beyond that window, the remaining installments will follow shortly after January 1st. Either way, the countdown is on. Behind the Scenes: Rising Costs and Continued Commitment It’s been a challenging year behind the scenes, but the commitment to delivering quality never wavered. Producing Holiday Edition 2025 alone cost over $80, up significantly from the usual $50 average for previous circuit sets. Jingle Electric came in at $50 as well, largely due to artists and producers holding back tracks from DJ services for extended periods. Despite rising costs, Party Favorz continues to...

Jingle Electric 2025: The Hottest Dance Club Songs of the Holiday Season

12/6/2025
Estimated reading time: 7 minutes 🎄 Party Favorz Jingle Electric 2025 Ignites the Holiday Season Party Favorz is back with our annual Jingle Electric 2025, and this year’s edition hits harder than ever. This isn’t background music for trimming the tree. This is peak-hour energy designed for packed dance floors, flashing strobes, and full-tilt holiday release. From the opening beat to the final mix-out, the momentum never lets go. What makes Jingle Electric 2025 so effective is its constant motion. Bass House melts into Hard Dance. Techno surges into Trance. Melodic House glides into Tech House. Then Dance Pop rises up just long enough to reset the room. About every fourth or fifth track, the direction shifts. That pacing keeps the set fresh and unpredictable while locking listeners into the journey. 🔥 Current Club Weapons Driving the Set This year’s mix is stacked with brand-new heat already shaping the club landscape. Tiësto & FORS’ “Bring Me to Life” stands out as a full-circle moment for a Trance legend who helped build the foundation and still commands the present. The energy is classic Tiësto, updated for today’s floors. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RTz6E3gL_Ac Odd Mob’s “Coming Up” reflects the duo’s massive year in clubs and festivals alike. Their bass-driven bounce fits perfectly into the heavier stretches of the set. James Hype’s “Behavior” continues his relentless streak of high-octane productions. The man simply doesn’t miss. One of the biggest crowd-shifting moments comes from Britney Spears’ “I Wanna Go,” reborn through John Summit’s modern Club Fusion lens. Originally released during Britney’s early 2010s resurgence, the song always leaned electro-pop. Summit transforms it into a proper peak-hour weapon without losing its playful attitude. Alesso & Sacha’s “Destiny” brings melodic tension and emotional lift. It’s classic Alesso—big, anthemic, and instantly recognizable. “Mitsubishi” by Gorgon City & Muki adds a darker, hypnotic layer into the mix that keeps the energy grounded and driving forward. Then comes the early-millennial surprise hit all over again. MGMT’s “Kids,” reworked by Fezzo, explodes with new life for a new generation while still honoring the original’s infectious melody. It’s one of those rare flips that bridges indie nostalgia and full-throttle club energy. 🕺 Millennium Classics Recharged for 2025 One of the defining traits of Jingle Electric 2025 is how confidently it blends the brand-new with the deeply familiar. Several early-2000s anthems return in updated form without sacrificing their identity. ATB’s “9PM (Til I Come)” still carries that unmistakable late-night Trance DNA that once dominated radio and underground alike. Eric Prydz’s “Call On Me” remains a lesson in how minimal repetition can still dominate a dance floor. Meanwhile, Oliver Heldens puts a pumped-up spin on “Lady (Hear Me Tonight)” by Modjo, sharpening the groove into a modern festival-ready burner while preserving the original’s silky swagger. Progressive Edition 2008 | Pt. 1, 2 & 3 Top Dance Songs of the Holiday Season! — Jingle Electric 2022 Jingle Electric 2015 pt. 2 | MASSIVE EDM BANGERS! Jingle Electric 2016 Volume 2 Jingle Electric 2017 Volume 1 💔 Kaskade Delivers Two Powerful Moments from Undux One of the most talked-about segments in Jingle Electric 2025 belongs to Kaskade, who delivers not one, but two standout singles from his forthcoming album undux. His rework of Bonnie Raitt’s “I Can’t Make You Love Me” is nothing short of fearless. The original ballad is built on restraint, heartbreak, and understated phrasing—qualities that rarely translate into peak-hour club tracks. Yet Kaskade somehow preserves the ache while lifting the song into a full-scale hands-in-the-air anthem. The uncredited vocal performance adds intimacy and mystery, making it one of the most emotional moments in the entire set. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r3IukmPJ2qo On the other side of the emotional spectrum sits “DNCR.” This track...

Fall Throwback Dance Party 2025: Volume III

11/29/2025
Estimated reading time: 6 minutes Fall Throwback Dance Party Volume III: The Moment It All Clicked Party Favorz is closing out the season with the third volume of our Fall Throwback Dance Party, and this one hits in a way the earlier entries didn’t quite manage. Volume III blends familiar classics from the ’70s and ’80s with ’90s House favorites and early-Millennium gems, but with a twist. These aren’t straight-up recreations. Instead, you get bold mashups, creative overlays, and unexpected pairings that turn well-known tracks into something entirely different. Block & Crown and their extended circle continue to work their magic by stitching together instrumentals you know with vocals you may not expect. They frequently pull in Rap or Hip-Hop verses that weren’t part of the original songs, yet somehow elevate the energy. The result feels like two different worlds colliding on the dance floor—and it works far better than logic says it should. Their grasp of what drives a crowd is why these sets land so well. It really is a case of “it takes two to make a thing go right,” and these producers prove that point with every release. A Tough Start to the Fall Throwback Dance Party Series Top Dance Club Songs of the Year 2024 Volume III | The Year’s Biggest Bangers! Fall Throwback Dance Party kicks off with Volume I, packed with 70s–90s magic X-Mas Dance 2K18 | The Essential Christmas Dance Mix 90s House Music Classics Volume 7: Keep On Movin' Summer Throwback Dance Party 2025: Volume 1 To be blunt, I wasn’t feeling the first two volumes. Part of that was on me. I’ve been in and out of the hospital twice since late October dealing with sepsis, and even though the doctors helped me through it, the medications had me foggy. My focus was shot, my energy was low, and listening to music—something I normally love—felt like a chore. I nearly shelved the entire Fall Throwback Dance Party run because the earlier mixes just weren’t clicking. On the drive home from the hospital, I revisited Volume II and felt a wave of annoyance settle in. Everything felt repetitive. The songs blurred together. Even though these producers often use templates in their workflow—which isn’t unusual for remix culture—it still didn’t land for me. With nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and every type of specialist stopping by throughout the week, I didn’t have the mental space to sit down and give the music the attention it deserved. Everything was overwhelming, and Party Favorz took a back seat whether I wanted it to or not. Thanksgiving Break: The Turning Point Thanksgiving morning, I woke up around 2 AM with a rare pocket of quiet. I opened my folder for Volume III and realized the playlist was still unfinished. There weren’t enough tracks to shape it into a full mix. Because Block & Crown and the related Funky House crew release tons of material every week, I decided to check my DJ service to see what I had missed since my first pass in October. This is where everything changed.A wave of strong releases had dropped—finally showcasing the punch, bounce, and grit that I expect from these producers. I downloaded everything that caught my ear and threw it straight into the playlist. Once I began mixing, the frustration I carried from the earlier volumes melted away. The grooves locked in. The energy felt right. For the first time in months, I felt like myself again behind the decks. Tightening the Mix The next night (again at 2 AM—apparently that’s my hour), I sat down to tighten the transitions. Many of these Funky House tracks have long outros that drag on. Beatport may categorize them as Funky House, but the arrangement leans heavily toward late ’90s and early-Millennium structure—long build-ups, long breakdowns, and long fade-outs. That style worked for club DJs back then, but modern listeners want momentum. So I trimmed the fat.I cut down repetitive endings and kept the energy moving. Track-to-track flow is everything in a Fall Throwback Dance...

Fall Throwback Dance Party 2025 Volume II

11/20/2025
Party Favorz is back with Volume II of the Fall Throwback Dance Party mix for 2025 — and this one spanks. As promised, this set leans into familiarity with recognizable dubs woven through tracks from your past. Remixers have a real talent for pulling together different genres and decades, creating something new that still sparks instant memories. Some of these combinations hit so well they’ll have you out of your seat. A Much-Needed Medical BreakthroughYesterday’s outpatient procedure to seal off the faulty veins in my leg was a turning point. For the first time in months, I woke up without that familiar throbbing rush the moment my feet hit the floor. That alone felt like a gift. Later this morning, I’ll be checking into Emory Hospital for a full debridement under anesthesia. Many of you saw the earlier photo I shared, so you already know how important this step is. Clearing all the necrotic tissue at once is far more effective than the four months of manual removals I endured earlier this year — a slow, brutally painful process even with medication. Why Volume III Will Be Briefly DelayedBecause of this short hospital stay, the release of Volume III — the final chapter of the Fall Throwback Dance Party series — will be pushed back slightly. Even so, we’re still aligned with the rest of the year’s plans. Once I’m home and settled, the next Club Fusion installment, Jingle Electric, will be moving forward. A Tough Call About the Holiday EditionI’m also making the difficult decision to skip this year’s Holiday Edition. It’s not just the time crunch — producing those mixes costs over sixty dollars each, and right now, that kind of expense isn’t realistic. On top of my medical bills, the avalanche of costs from my last hospital stay has been enormous. Between essential Amazon purchases and replacing a bricked phone, the financial hit has been hard to ignore. If you’ve checked the donation portal lately, you know the situation already speaks for itself. Looking Toward Thanksgiving WeekendMy goal is to release Volume III the weekend after Thanksgiving. With the holiday slowing down the constant flow of nurses, physical therapists, and occupational therapists, I should finally have the quiet time needed to wrap it up. If You Want Party Favorz To ContinueIf these mixes have carried you through workouts, weekends, holidays, or late-night escapes — and you want them to keep coming — please consider supporting Party Favorz through the donation portal. Even small contributions help stabilize things during a year where medical demands have taken such a toll. Your support genuinely keeps this project alive. Fall Throwback Dance Party kicks off with Volume I, packed with 70s–90s magic

11/15/2025
Party Favorz is back in the saddle and kicking off the next round of the Fall Throwback Dance Partyseries. This first volume blends 70s, 80s, and 90s gems into a Funky House ride that hits all the right nerves. There’s a strong lean into 80s-style R&B dance grooves this time—plenty of deep cuts, and many so under-the-radar that even I had trouble tracing their origins. Still, the sound is unmistakably rooted in classic 80s R&B club culture, and these tracks hold up right alongside the songs you already know. Nothing here breaks the flow; it only adds to the flavor. Expect even more familiarity in the next two volumes of the Fall edition. I knocked out this mix around two in the morning—insomnia is still running the show. Nighttime pain keeps me from getting more than a few hours of sleep, but I’m hoping that shifts soon. I’ve got outpatient surgery coming up to improve blood flow in my leg, which should speed the healing process. After that, I’m scheduled for another procedure to remove the necrotic tissue you may have seen in the not-so-pleasant photo I shared earlier. On top of that, I have a rotating team of nurses handling wound care several times a week, plus physical and occupational therapists helping me strengthen my lower extremities and learn how to maneuver the wheelchair safely inside my apartment. It’s a lot at once, but I’m adjusting to the chaos one day at a time. As if that wasn’t enough, my phone ended up bricked while I was in the hospital, and to top it off, someone stole my Tiffany’s wedding ring during the ordeal. Now I’m juggling phone replacement and account security on top of everything else. A new phone arrives Monday, but until then, I’m locked out of my Facebook and Instagram accounts, which makes staying connected a little harder than usual. Just another thing to work around while life keeps throwing surprises my way. All of this has thrown off my usual workflow for building these mixes. The hardest part is not being able to drive, which means I can’t preview the sets in the car—my old go-to for checking transitions, flow, and overall energy. For years, listening in the car has been my final quality check. Without that, I have to trust my instincts during the build phase instead of reviewing the mixes in full ahead of release. Thankfully, the instincts are still sharp, but if you catch any transitions that sound slightly off, let me know and I’ll fix them. Meanwhile, the Party Favorz homepageis going through a few cosmetic changes. Nothing major—streaming and downloads are still running normally. Some of the visual updates hit a snag, and we’re working through them, so don’t panic if something looks a little odd. We’ve had offers to completely rebuild the website, but a full redesign just isn’t in the budget right now. So we’re polishing what we can, modernizing the look bit by bit, and keeping everything functional while we work through it. Volume 2 of the Fall Throwback Dance Party is almost wrapped, and Volume 3 is already queued up next. Both should land in the coming week and bring us back into more familiar territory. Once they’re live, you can grab them here: If you’re craving more of the Funky House flavor that sneaks into this set, check out the Funky House Sessions. If you're more into the classic era tracks that shaped this series, you’ll find plenty in BackSpinand other retro genres. Before I close out, I want to mention something important. Party Favorz has always been a labor of love, but keeping it running—especially right now—comes with real costs. If you enjoy the mixes, the history, the artwork, the remasters, or the steady flow of releases all year long, consider dropping a little support my way. Even a small recurring contribution helps keep things afloat while I navigate these medical challenges and still push myself to deliver the music you come here for. Funktastical Disco 2025: Future Funk Meets the Dancefloor

10/18/2025
Party Favorz is back with our latest Funky House set, Funktastical Disco 2025, where future funk meets the dancefloor — and boy, does this one pack a punch! This episode brings pure energy from start to finish. It’s a sonic journey through Disco House, Soul Funk, Nu Disco, and Big Room House, with every track shimmering in glitter and groove. Expect a full-on celebration of rhythm, packed with clever lyric samples pulled from iconic songs of the past. You’ll probably recognize a few of them, but if you get stumped, drop me an email and I’ll fill in the blanks. The Art of Sampling and a Soulful Nod Let’s kick it off with the opening track — an absolute gem. Shabi delivers a fierce update of Loleatta Holloway’s “I Need Someone,” one of her lesser-known mid-80s songs that leaned more electronic than her classic disco sound. The original was by Live Element and is overflowing with those trademark Holloway ad-libs we all know and love. Shabi doesn’t use them all, but the ones he does highlight are unmistakable. The result is a full-bodied Disco House stomper that turns nostalgia into pure, floor-shaking energy. If you haven’t heard the original, do yourself a favor and hunt it down — it’s a time capsule of mid-80s electronica that still feels ahead of its time. Refining the Groove While Funktastical Disco 2025 was wrapped a week ago, I ended up taking the scalpel to it. The original mix was longer, but it needed serious trimming — some tracks just didn’t measure up to the Party Favorz standard. Thankfully, several fresh releases dropped just in time last Friday, and after swapping out about ten filler cuts, the final result hits harder, flows better, and keeps that high-voltage funky pulse alive throughout. The mix does take a few smoother Funky House turns, giving brief moments to catch your breath before diving right back into that fiery groove. It’s relentless, bold, and built for anyone who lives for that feeling when the bassline hits just right. A Tribute to Ron Carroll Before closing out, I want to take a moment to honor a true legend of 90s House Music — Ron Carroll, who recently passed away. His influence shaped generations of producers and vocalists, and he was still giving us gold this year through both his remixes and collaborations. To pay tribute, I chose one of his final powerhouse tracks, “What A Wonderful World” by Bob Sinclar & Axwell, featuring Ron’s unmistakable vocals, to close out the set. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=579pmr9qpGs The message couldn’t be more fitting given everything going on in the world right now. It’s a reminder that even through the chaos, there’s beauty and unity in music. I’d like to think Ron would have approved of this one. So, lace up those platform boots, grab your drink of choice, and let the glitter rain down — because Funktastical Disco 2025 is everything the name promises and more. Until the next time...ENJOY! HW25: Blood On the Dancefloor

10/11/2025
After skipping last year, Party Favorz brings back the HW series — and this one hits hard. Featuring the latest Future House, Tech House, Techno, Bass House, and NuDisco tracks tearing up dancefloors right now, HW25 isn’t just another Halloween mix — it’s a full-on experience. We’ve always resisted overloading our Halloween sets with gimmicky effects, but this year we decided to throw the rulebook out the window. While we didn’t saturate the mix with cheesy sound effects that distract from the music, we did craft a sinister custom intro that slides straight into the Bingo Players’ mashup of “Rattle” and the “Halloween” movie theme. From there, it’s a dark, pulsating ride through modern reworks of classic horror themes and songs tied to the ghoulish festivities that define the season — all perfectly blended to keep the music front and center where it belongs. This set leans into the darker, heavier edge of the night — because let’s face it, Halloween calls for a little menace. But it’s not all shadows and chills. We threw in some brighter, high-energy moments too, like a bootleg remix of Lady Gaga’s “The Dead Dance,” which stays true to the original while dialing up the heat. Other standouts include: SIDEPIECE’s fresh take on the millennial classic “Cry for You” by September. “Diamonds, Baby” by DancingFaraz, a hidden gem flying under just about everyone’s radar. “Yes Baby” by Madison Beer, because no Party Favorz mix is complete without a pop-driven punch. “My Gusta” by Eli Brown & GreeLy, another underrated cut that deserves serious club play. Don Diablo’s shimmering rework of Fleetwood Mac’s “Little Lies,” which is doing well on dance radio but criminally underappreciated elsewhere. And the hauntingly beautiful “Ishq Hai (This Is Love)” by Anurag Saikia, Armin van Buuren & Craig David, blending East-meets-West rhythms that should be charting — but inexplicably aren’t. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0onVF7Odcdc Then there’s the mysterious one: “Deep End” by BKAYE — a track that showed up in my promos with no info, no sender, and no clue where it came from. After scouring my Gmail, Beatport, and ZipDJ accounts, I finally traced a hint of it back to a SoundCloud promo email — long since deleted from their platform. When I reached out to BKAYE, he confirmed it was his track but admitted he didn’t send it. Still, he gave me his blessing to use it. The vocalist remains a mystery, but one thing’s for sure: this track is absolute fire. I’ve had it on repeat in my car and headphones for weeks. Do yourself a favor — follow BKAYE on Spotify and Apple Music. When “Deep End” officially drops, it should go straight to your playlists. To round out the set, we threw in several bootlegs and mashups to keep things unpredictable. A particular favorite is the BARTS remix of “Which One” by Drake and Central Cee. It’s addictive — the kind of track that burrows into your brain and refuses to leave. Too many tracks lacked originality, often missing a proper hook, while others simply forced the vocals of a classic song into a pre-used structure instead of building instrumentation around the vocal to keep its essence intact. Now, I can’t say Las Bibas From Vizcaya was responding to that criticism (probably not), but the fabulously talented producer dropped the infectious The Tribal House Is Dead — which almost felt like a cheeky swipe at me. Regardless, the track resonated with Circuit House fans, and Jace Me with Toy Armada took it to the next level with their remix. Far be it from me to ignore a great record. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4N0ZKtdCEoM With the exception of one song in the Fall Edition 2025, it seems like someone is finally listening. Suddenly, there’s a refreshing variety of styles and genres that still fit neatly under the Circuit House umbrella. Yes, you’ll hear plenty of big tribal beats, but you’ll also find Tea Dance-styled Funky House and darker progressive moments that round out the set beautifully. Variety is what makes this mix one of our favorites. Guy Scheiman’s Double Play Guy Scheiman absolutely nailed it — not once, but twice. The irony isn’t lost on me that this Israeli Jewish DJ dropped a Circuit House track in Spanish that connects instantly with Latin America. “Quiero Un Amor (I Want a Love(r)) hits all the right notes while expanding his global reach. His second entry, This Fire, is another powerhouse House track perfect for any Tea Dance or Circuit party. While it doesn’t directly sample Thelma Houston’s Disco classic Don’t Leave Me This Way, the phrasing and delivery are clearly inspired by it. You can’t help but think of the original while listening, which makes the track both familiar and fresh. Right now, Party Favorz is genuinely impressed with what Mr. Scheiman is laying down. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z5VNAsK5pbY Sampling With a Twist Speaking of sampling, the recent EDM smash Together by David Guetta, Hypaton, and Bonnie Tyler got a Circuit House makeover from HenriqMoraes. This version is easily one of our favorite tracks of 2025. By weaving in lines from the early ’80s pop-drama staple Total Eclipse of the Heart, the song shifts from a love ballad to an anthem of unity that works on multiple levels. Let’s face it — no matter your age, you’d have to live under a rock not to know the original. It’s been reworked countless times since the ’90s and included in various commercials, but Henriq is the only Circuit DJ bold enough to spin it for the gay dance floor.
