4/1/2023
In this episode of the podcast, we discuss the recent legislation signed by Gov. Bill Lee of Tennessee banning the performance of drag in public with minors present. It might help to read the companion article to this episode (Conservatives Come Out Against Free Speech) to understand the story better. #dragqueens #dragstorytime #firstamendment #freedomofspeech #outlawingdrag

OTFC Podcast Ep. 10: East Palestine Ohio Chemical Catastrophe

2/16/2023
In this podcast episode, we discuss the ecologically catastrophic chemical incident that occurred in East Palestine, OH, on February 3, 2023. The mainstream media took days to cover the story, all while residents were left in the dark. Within hours of the train derailment and subsequent chemical fire, local animals started dying, and people developed headaches (among other ailments). We talk about the ecological damage of the disaster, the ineptitude of Norfolk Southern, the lack of care from Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg, and the future outlook of people in the area. Later in the show, we briefly discuss the chicken shortages throughout the country, the rising prices of eggs, and what people can do. Additionally, we give a couple of resilience activities to focus on as spring approaches. *Apologies for the beginning when CM kept saying Palestine, Ohio, instead of East Palestine, Ohio. ______ Notes from the show: • Where to stock up on antibiotics: Buy Pharma • A link to our resources page on NRS • Homestead Security Article • Find Home Series Articles If you enjoyed this episode, we'd love to hear from you. OTFC Podcast Ep. 9: Kudzu Culture

2/13/2023
On this episode of the podcast, we spoke to LB, Justin, and Nica from Kudzu Culture. Kudzu Culture connects people with kudzu. The plant kudzu is a vine native to China that the U.S. government widely planted in the early 1900s to stop soil erosion in the Southeastern United States. This fantastic group envisions a world where a widespread culture of kudzu use and reverence balances kudzu in native ecosystems in the Southeast while providing major material and economic benefits for communities amidst a rapidly changing world. Unfortunately, corporate-sponsored propaganda has created tremendous cultural hatred toward this beneficial plant. Instead of focusing taxpayer funds on eradicating Kudzu, we should be focusing our time and energy on partnering with this wonderful species for the continued health and well-being of the local socio-ecology. As Western Civilization continues down the slope of decline, we need to join forces with as many innovative people and plants as possible. So join us today as we find out what Kudzu has to say on the subject through the excellent botanical translations of Kudzu Culture. If you want to check out the amazing work of Kudzu Culture, they can be found on the web at KudzuCulture.net. In addition, Nica's website Fiberhouse Collective can be found at FiberHouseCollective.com. ____________________ As always, if you enjoyed the conversation, please check out our website New Revenant Society and say hi!

OTFC Podcast Ep. 8: The Davos Cult

1/21/2023
In this podcast episode, we (Christopher David and Christopher Michael) discuss the cult operating under the World Economic Forum (WEF), meeting in Davos, Switzerland, for their annual summit. We ask the question everyone should be asking: Why are we letting unelected people decide what should happen to the world over the next ten to twenty years? The echo chamber that is the WEF is so out of touch with reality that most of the schemes seem to be something straight out of a science fiction novel. We also discuss the education system in America and the need for parents to start standing up for their children. The woke mob has been indoctrinating the children for years, and it's time brave parents stood up and took a stand for our future generations. If you enjoyed the podcast, please visit us at New Revenant Society. We just opened our public forum so that everyone can have a place free of censorship to talk about all the nonsense infecting our world.

OTFC Podcast Ep. 7: The Collapse of the Christian Church

1/6/2023
In this episode, we (Christopher David and Christopher Michael) discuss our recent three-part article series focusing on the resilience of the Christian churches in America. Part 1 focuses on the message we sent to churches in a social experiment to see if the Christian community is building resilience for the challenges ahead. Part 2 is the growing guide Christopher David put together with his years of knowledge in permaculture and sustainable design. Finally, part 3 is our conclusion, which was shocking. In this episode, we break down our part 3 conclusion article to discuss the ways in which the Christian church has failed its community and Christianity itself. We discuss the opulence, entitlement, narcissism, gluttony, and evilness of what the Christian church has become in America. These artificial Christians treat the church like a country club where they showboat their moral superiority, party nonstop, and go on lavish retreats, all while childhood poverty explodes in their communities. Towards the end of the episode, we list multiple ways the Christian churches can recognize their faults and change course. We discuss building tiny homes on church properties, turning acres and acres of Church lawns into life-sustaining gardens, teaching financial literacy and other classes to help improve the local community, and much more. If you're an easily offended Christian, you're going to love this show! As always, if you enjoyed the show and want to read some of our articles and introduce yourself on the forum, we encourage you to check out our website at New Revenant Society.

1/1/2023
In this episode, we (Christopher Michael and Christopher David) discuss public enemy #1, Bill Gates. His blatant hypocrisy when it comes to climate change is one thing, but his diabolical takeover as the largest holder of seed depositories around the world is something that should stir everyone to action. We discuss the need for personal resilience, community cooperation, and parallel systems. Food is one of the most important resources in the world, and the oligarchs are taking over control in every sector of agriculture. This isn't just to control the food; it's to control you. OTFC Podcast Ep. 5: Of Narcissists and Consumption

12/6/2022
In this episode, Christopher David and Christopher Michael discuss their recent conversation with James Howard Kunstler on his podcast Kunstlercast #366 and the reception from the listeners. This episode's first topic of discussion centers around internet narcissism and how to handle it. The Chris' go into some personal examples of internet narcissism, how to spot narcissists in public, and how to deal with them. The second topic is the astronomical amount of money Americans spend on such trivial things. Overconsumption of the earth's natural resources is one of the biggest battles of our age, and overcoming the supposed need to consume more and more will be the difference between life and death. Personal liberty comes not from the ability to acquire more material wealth but from the ability to say no to greed and envy. Join us as we discuss these topics in today's conversation. Don't forget to check out the new book from Christopher Michael, The Psychology of Collapsing, which is currently the #1 New Release in Rural Sociology on Amazon. The paperback and Kindle ebook will be available on December 16, 2022. If you like the podcast, check out NewRevenenatSociety.com for more articles, resources, and discussions.

OTFC Podcast Ep. 4: Our Story

9/28/2022
In this episode, CD and CM sit down to discuss what brought them to where they are today and their pursuit to help as many people as possible to simplify their lives. The episode includes: About the hosts: Christopher David grew up in a rural farming community in Maryland. While exploring the area’s fields and forests, he developed a passion for the plants and animals that call this area home. This passion evolved into a mastery of plant cultivation and propelled him to earn of B.S. in Environmental Sustainability. While in college, Christopher was exposed to the growing movement of tiny house living and, once out of college, began building his very first tiny house. His passion for nature and sustainable living was merged once he discovered the concept and design ethic of Permaculture. Since this time, Christopher has worked on several tiny house builds, designed Permaculture properties, and currently resides on an 11-acre property in the mountains of Appalachia. This property is the culmination of years of diligent work in sustainable living practices and permaculture design. Being off-grid has been a challenging experience to break into, but one that aligns with his values and purpose in life. His expertise includes plant identification, plant propagation, seed saving and starting, grafting, construction of sustainable systems, animal husbandry, tiny house building, permaculture design, herbal medicine, data collection, and research. Christopher Michael was born into a military family and lived in North Carolina, Florida, and Pennsylvania as a child. After high school, Christopher joined the Army as an intelligence analyst and deployed to Afghanistan to support Operation Enduring Freedom in 2013. The culture shock of living in a hostile country was abated by Christopher’s intense need to understand the people he was fighting against. In his adult life, Christopher has lived in Louisiana, Maryland, and now Virginia. The drive to understand cultures led Christopher to complete a B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology. While studying in school, Christopher began working in counterintelligence in Washington, D.C. It only took him three years to become sufficiently disgusted with the government and leave. He resigned from his GS-13 position in early 2020 and began looking for his next adventure. At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Christopher completed a master's in Business Administration and began working as a healthcare administrator. The need to feel useful during what seemed to be a fatal hit to the world's health led him to stay in the healthcare field for a year. Christopher's expertise includes security, military operations, project management, marketing, writing, and strategic analysis. While not working on the property or the New Revenant Society network, Christopher enjoys reading, cooking, drawing, researching, and spending time with his cats, chickens, and ducks.
