On this week’s Chauncey's Great Outdoors 11-30-2024 show, We will have an interview I did with a young 13 year old, almost 14 as he said, Michael Feinburg who earlier this year went out with his Dad and Ripple Guide Service fly fishing for chinook salmon. He was nervous but did a great job. Then Pete Meier who participated in a deer hunt for the disabled at Rend, that included the Army Corp of Engineers and the outdoor club from the local high school in Sesser that just did a great job. We will round up the show with Sgt Seth Thornley, an Illinois DNR CPO to talk about using drones, e-bikes and more while hunting in Illinois. We will then have the Aiden fishing report and more!

On this week’s Chauncey's Great Outdoors 11-23-2024 show, On today's show we will have Chris Anchor the Wildlife Biologist from the Cook County Forest Preserves with a story about an Osprey that was banded a year ago and took a fly about and was found in Columbia South America. Then Jeff Pretzl the Deer Program Manager for the state of Wisconsin with some information about the deer herd there, with it being the opening weekend of firearm deer season.
