For most of us, our homes are our sanctuary. For tonight’s guest, Carey, however, her home has been anything but. You see, in 2016 she had her first Sasquatch sighting. She was at home when the sighting happened and since then, she’s had numerous Sasquatch sightings on and around the 4 properties Carey and her husband have owned since that fateful day. They’ve moved so many times, in hopes of leaving the Sasquatch behind, but that hasn’t worked. They even moved out of state, but the Sasquatch have followed Carey and her husband every time they’ve moved. Making matters worse, Sasquatch aren’t the only cryptids Carey and her husband have had to deal with on their properties. Unfortunately, Dogmen have kept a fairly constant presence at their properties too. The Sasquatch seem to be keeping the Dogmen from causing too many problems, though. While it’s true that Carey is terrified of the Sasquatch that keep paying her and her husband visits, she’s much more frightened of the Dogmen. On tonight’s show, Carey will walk you through a lot of the experiences she’s had with the Dogmen that just won’t leave her and her husband alone. Tonight’s guest, Mike, grew up in San Carlos, California, which is near the Crystal Springs Reservoir. The Crystal Springs Reservoir is surrounded by thousands of acres of forest and open land, and most of the area is off-limits. Hunting and fishing aren’t allowed there, and that’s a shame because water from the San Francisco Bay area flows through the Hetch Hetchy water system and empty into the Crystal Springs Reservoir. That makes for some very good fishing at the reservoir. Unfortunately, one night, in July of 1980, Mike and his best friend, Troy, got caught trying to sneak into the Crystal Springs Reservoir to do some fishing, but it wasn’t law enforcement that caught them. In fact, Mike would have given anything for it to have just been law enforcement that they ran into. No. What caught the boys, that night, was something much worse. In fact, after having the nightmarish experience he and Troy had, that night, Mike has never set foot in a forest without having a big gun with him. Consequently, some of the things he saw the Dogmen do were as traumatic, if not more traumatic than what he saw the death squads do. One day, a few years ago, Bart Boneshirt’s uncle show him a picture that really surprised him. In the picture, he could see a creature that he had heard about but never expected to see. It was a picture of a Dogman standing on its back legs, sniffing the air, with its back to his uncle’s camera. Bart knew that Sasquatch were in the area, because he’d already had an encounter with one, but he had no idea Dogmen were around. The picture was all the proof he needed to realize that they were. That’s a fact that was further reinforced when Bart saw two Dogmen himself, almost right outside his door! On Episode 528, tonight’s guest, Cam, shared one of the most terrifying, heart-wrenching Dogman encounters that an eyewitness has ever shared on the show. That was the episode where he talked about the night his heroic, white, American Bulldog, Dallas, saved him from a Dogman that quite probably was planning on taking his life. When tonight’s guest, Todd Tidwell, was a kid in the 80’s, he did a lot of things kids did back then, both good and bad. One night, in 1982, he came to regret doing one of the bad things he decided to do. That was the night he decided to sneak out of his house, in the middle of the night, and ride his bike to a friend’s house. Everything went fine when he was riding to get to his friend’s house. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for his ride home. Things didn’t go well for him, at all. He had every reason to believe he'd have those lonely country roads to himself. It’s too bad that wound up not being the case. He found himself trying to outrun a Dogman, and two other creatures, in an attempt to make it to the relative safety of his house. Tonight’s guest, Aaron Nicely, has been roaming the mountains of Virginia since he was 5 years old. Some of his fondest memories are of the times his grandpap used to take him into the mountains to teach him the way of the woods. His grandpap is gone now, but the memories remain. After learning so much about the woods from his grandpap and spending so much time in the mountains on his own, Aaron had a familiarity with the woods that left him feeling like he knew just about everything there was to know about them. Late one August night, in 2010, tonight’s guest, Mason, was sleeping in a small tent, in a valley, about a mile back in the woods from his house. He had been sleeping when, suddenly, he was jolted awake by a strange sound. For 10 to 15 seconds, he laid there trying to figure out if he’s just been dreaming, when he heard the sound, or if the sound had been made by something close to the tent. It wasn’t long before he got his answer. He wasn’t dreaming that he heard the sound. What he’d heard was in the valley with him. Making matters worse, he could hear that it was approaching his tent! 36 years ago, when tonight’s guest, Mark Hughes, was 16, he had an encounter with a creature that he describes as looking like the werewolf from the movie The Howling. When he had the encounter, he was half-way between a small town, in England, called One House and a town called Stone Market. There were no streetlights out there, in the country, between the two towns back then. It was well after nightfall, at the time, so the area where they were was pretty dark. Being kids, Mark and his friends used to love messing with each other. That night, as Mark and two of his friends were walking home, through the countryside, one of his friends was walking a short distance ahead, in the dark. Thinking it would be fun to try to scare the friend who was walking ahead, Mark put his plan into action. Unfortunately, Mark and his friends weren’t alone out there. In September of 2016, tonight’s guest, “Hondo,” had his first Dogman encounter, at a place called “Shady Valley,” in the mountains of Northeast Tennessee. Even though Hondo is a very experienced combat vet, with years of experience being a special forces operative, he describes the encounter he had that night as almost frightening him to death. Tonight's guest, “Kendra,” was driving to work at around 4:30 AM, during the pandemic, when she had her Dogman encounter. At the time, she worked at a stone quarry that was about 10 miles from where her encounter happened. You see, “Kendra” worked in the quarry’s scale house, by herself, with windows all around her. The small building was fairly isolated from the other buildings on the property. The fact that she had to be at work an hour or so before dark definitely didn’t make coming to terms with her encounter easy, but something the blacker than black Dogman did to her, while the encounter was playing out, made it even more difficult. Tonight's guest, Ryan, was featured on Episode 250, and on the episode, he talked about a Dogman encounter he had while he was rock crawling, in his Jeep. Unfortunately, he had another encounter in the summer of 2023. The reason why he wasn’t able to share the details of his encounter until now is he was in prison due to a crime he didn’t commit. When it made its presence known, even the stone-cold killers there, in the prison, were terrified. Tonight's guest, Ken, is a Cree man who contacted me about two weeks ago, to let me know about two Dogman encounters he’s had. One of the encounters happened in 1999, when he was with his family and the most recent one, in 2009, happened when he was with his brother. Ken lives in a very remote part of Alberta, Canada where the habitat couldn’t be more ideal for Dogmen to live.
