God is Relational

4/19/2026
What if the greatest measure of your spiritual maturity… isn’t what you know, but how you love? We’ve been taught to focus on knowledge, gifts, and even purpose… We've debated God's sovereignty. But what if we’ve missed the foundation? God is not just powerful. God is relational. From the beginning, His desire has always been connection With Him… and with each other. But here’s the reality: The enemy doesn’t just attack your purpose He attacks your relationships. And if we’re honest… We’re living in a time where disconnection has become normal. Loneliness. Isolation. Surface-level connection. Even in the church. But what if revival doesn’t start with a platform… What if it starts with how we love each other? This message will challenge you to rethink: What spiritual maturity really looks like Why relationships feel so hard And how growth actually happens Because becoming like Christ isn’t about knowing more… It’s about loving deeper. 👉 This week’s challenge is simple—but not easy: Listen when you want to talk. Lean in when you want to pull away. Choose love when it costs you something. Because that’s where transformation happens. Send this to a friend who needs to hear "God is Relational," it may just change the way they view God. #NWCKC #NewWineChurch #God #relationships #trinity

The Compassion of Christ

4/5/2026
🌅 Happy Resurrection Sunday! In this weeks Easter message, Pastor Matt highlights for us that at the very core of who God is — there is a heart full of compassion for you. Not the cleaned-up version of you. Not the future version of you. You, right now, exactly where you are. This week's message is a reminder that while we were still in our mess, Jesus poured out His life for us. He didn't wait until we had it all figured out. He didn't hold back until we were "ready." He just loves us. He has compassion for us. No matter what this season has looked like for you — the doubt, the struggle, the questions — God sees you. He knows you. And His heart is overflowing with compassion, just waiting for you to bring it all to Him and receive everything He has to offer. That's the power of the resurrection. ✝️ Watch this weeks message and be encouraged by The Compassion of Christ.

The Weight of Waiting

3/29/2026
What if the waiting isn't working against you... but for you? On Palm Sunday, the crowd cried out for Jesus to fix what was broken. They wanted a revolution in their circumstances. But that's not always what He gives us. Sometimes He gives us something harder. Something better. A revolution in our character. Waiting has weight. It wears on you. It makes you question what you once believed about yourself and about God. In this weeks message, Ryan Finney unpacks why the silence isn't absence, why the delay isn't defeat, and why the season you're in might be the most important one yet. If you're in a waiting season, this message might change how you see everything you're walking through right now. #PalmSunday #Hosanna #NewWineChurch #NWCKC #Refinersfire

Broken To Be Poured Out

3/22/2026
Have you ever walked through a season where life just keeps hitting… one wave after another? Where just as you start to catch your breath, something else comes—and suddenly you feel overwhelmed, stretched, and honestly… tired? You’re not alone. In this message, Maddy Slocum shares a powerful message on a painful season that nearly crushed her and the lessons she learned from it. 👉 God doesn’t just meet us in the easy moments—He meets us in the middle of the fire. “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you… when you walk through the fire, you will not be burned.” There are people that have gifts Then there are people that have anointing. But here’s the part we don’t always talk about… The gifts are given freely, but the anointing costs us something Just like turning olives into oil... Before the oil flows, there is a process. Before the anointing, there is pressure. 💧 First comes the squeeze — the stress, the disappointment, the tension of life. 🔥 Then comes the crushing — the seasons that change you, strip you, and leave you unrecognizable. 🕊️ And finally, the pressing — where something new is produced, and God begins to bring purpose out of your pain. It’s in that place… not when everything is perfect, but when everything feels broken… that God does His deepest work. ✨ What if the very thing you’ve been trying to escape… …is actually what God wants to use to transform you? This message will challenge you, encourage you, and remind you: God is not wasting your season—He’s preparing you. 👉 Don’t miss this. Your story isn’t over… the oil is still coming. #NWCKC #NewWineChurch #Oil #Anointing #Isaiah61

Grace for Bitterness

3/8/2026
Bitterness doesn’t usually start big. Sometimes it begins with a wound… a betrayal… a moment that felt unfair. Over time that pain can take root in our hearts until we’re carrying something God never intended us to hold. In Exodus 15, the Israelites had just witnessed one of the greatest miracles in history—the Red Sea parting before them. Yet only three days later, they were grumbling because the water they found was bitter. Their circumstances had changed… but their hearts hadn’t. God showed Moses a tree to throw into the water, and the bitter water became sweet. Then God declared: “I am the Lord who heals you.” That moment wasn’t just about water—it was about hearts. Bitterness will: • Blind us to God’s goodness • Poison our relationships • Slowly destroy us from the inside out But the cross gives us a different way. The same grace that forgave us empowers us to forgive others. This week we’re talking about Grace for Bitterness—how God uproots the things in our hearts that keep us from the life He’s leading us into. If you’ve been carrying resentment, offense, or unresolved pain… there is freedom. And healing starts when we bring it to the cross. Watch this weeks message and let God turn the bitter waters in your life into something sweet. #NWCKC #NewWineChurch #Exodus #Bitterness #Grace #Jesus

Resurrection & Justification

3/1/2026
In this week's message Pastor Grant is taking a sledgehammer to every lie that says your standing before God depends on your performance. Through Romans 4, we go back to the foundation — the same truth that changed Abraham, that shook the Reformation, and still has the power today to set you completely free. This message is a powerful reminder for every believer who has ever felt the pressure to try harder, do more, to somehow earn a better standing with God. If condemnation has been loud lately… if striving has worn you out… if you've forgotten what it actually feels like to rest in the gospel, watch this message and be reminded of the good news that still changes everything. You cannot add to what Jesus has already finished. You are invited to stop striving and stand in the righteousness of Christ. #NewWineChurchKC #NWCKC #GospelTruth #FaithAlone #Romans4 #JustificationByFaith #JesusIsEnough #GraceUponGrace #FinishedWorkOfChrist #ChristianEncouragement #BiblicalTruth

Power and Compassion

2/22/2026
Are you feeling overlooked, overwhelmed, or like the future is looking bleak? In this powerful message, Pastor Grant dives into Luke 7 to explore one of the most unexpected encounters in the Gospels: Jesus and the Widow of Nain. What happens when the "God Who Sees" interrupts your darkest moment? Discover why Jesus had the "worst funeral etiquette" in history—not because He was indifferent, but because He was about to remove the very reason for the tears. Whether you have "great faith" or no faith at all, this message is a reminder that: 👁️ He Sees You: You are never insignificant in His eyes. ❤️ He Has Compassion: His heart is moved by your pain. ⚡ He Has Power: He doesn't just feel for you; He acts on your behalf. Stop carrying your "future" to the grave. Watch as we marvel at the beauty, wonder, and authority of Jesus Christ. One encounter can change your direction forever! #PowerAndCompassion #JesusSeesYou #NewWineChurch #Faith #Miracles #HopeRestored

Love God, Love People. Period.

2/15/2026
Love. Not pressure. Not performance. Not proving. When Jesus was asked what matters most, He made it simple: Love God. Love people. Period. Everything else hangs on that. If your faith has felt heavy… if you’re tired of holding it all together… maybe it’s not a motivation problem. Maybe it’s a foundation question. Because when love isn’t the center, even good things start to crack. But when love is the foundation? Faith holds. Truth heals. Obedience flows. So here’s the question: What is your life hanging on right now? 🎥 If you need realignment, rest, or just solid ground again — this message is for you.

Holy Should or Holy Spirit

2/8/2026
Ever feel like you’re carrying a quiet, constant pressure to be more… do more… fix more… prove more? This week’s message from Pastor Kim May titled “Holy Should or Holy Spirit?” goes straight after that exhausting inner soundtrack of: “I should… I should… I should…” Sometimes we pile on expectations and burdens we were never meant to carry—and we feel the weight of all those “shoulds” pressing in. In Acts 3, at the gate called Beautiful, a beggar asks Peter and John for money… and they do something shocking: they don’t do what’s expected — they do what’s directed. Not obligation. Not guilt. Not performance. The Holy Spirit. Because sometimes the “holy” thing isn’t the busy thing. Sometimes it’s the surrendered thing. If you’ve been living under unrealistic expectations, feeling stretched thin, or constantly “should-ing” yourself… this message might be the release you’ve been needing. Watch and ask yourself: Am I being driven by the Holy Should… or led by the Holy Spirit? #NewWineChurch #NWCKC #Acts3 #HolySpirit

Weakness is Strength

2/1/2026
This week Pastor Grant delivers a powerful message on how we experience strength through weakness. In 2 Corinthians 12:7–10, Paul begs God to remove the thorn in his side — not once, but three times. God’s response wasn’t what Paul wanted. Instead of removing the thorn, He said: “My grace is sufficient for you.” God didn’t take it away. He invited Paul to experience a strength that could only be found through dependence. What if your weakness isn’t the problem to solve… but the very place God’s power wants to show up? When you’re used to being “the strong one,” admitting weakness can feel like failure. But Paul shows us something different — weakness isn’t something to hide. It’s an invitation to grace. The thing you keep trying to power through might be the exact place God wants to meet you. Because when we stop pretending we’ve got it all together… we stop carrying burdens we were never meant to hold and we begin to experience real freedom in Christ.

Praise is the Breakthrough

1/18/2026
This week in our Worship series, Pastor Grant looks at when breakthrough really happens—and it’s probably not what you think. The battle plan in 2 Chronicles 20 makes zero sense on paper… and changes everything in practice. Judah is outnumbered, overwhelmed, and honest enough to say the words we’ve all felt: “We don’t know what to do… but our eyes are on You.” And then God gives a surprising instruction—not to panic, not to perform, not to pretend… but to praise before the victory shows up. What if the breakthrough you’re waiting for isn’t after the victory… but in the middle of the pressure? The shift doesn’t come because the enemy disappears or the provision arrives. It comes when we take our eyes off the problem and magnify the Lord. Sometimes praise brings the breakthrough—other times praise is the breakthrough, and the provision is simply the result. If you’ve been carrying anxiety, heaviness, uncertainty, or you feel pinned with no way out—this one is for you. Watch this week’s message and be reminded: the battle isn’t yours… and praise is how you stand and see the salvation of the Lord. #NWCKC #NewWineChurch #Praise #ThebattlebelongstoGod #breakthrough

The Power of Posture

1/11/2026
This week in our worship series, Psalm 150 provides a wake-up call for the start of a new year. Worship isn’t passive. It’s embodied. Not a blank stare… not “waiting until you feel it”… but giving God your whole being—hands lifted, knees bent, voice released, heart fully engaged. In this message, you’ll hear why your body matters to God, how worship recalibrates your priorities, and why so many believers have unknowingly carried shame or distance in the very place God designed to be an entrance to His presence. Pastor Grant unpacks the Biblical language of praise—lifting hands, clapping, shouting, dancing, bowing and shows how Scripture calls us into worship that’s not just sung… but lived through posture. And then it gets even deeper: worship doesn’t just change a room… it can change you. This message will stir faith for freedom, breakthrough, and healing, especially for anyone who’s felt stuck, numb, overwhelmed, or “out of sync.” Are ready for a reset? To do something you haven’t done before? Because when you bring your whole self to God, He meets you there. #NWCKC #NewWineChurch #living sacrifice #worship #surrender

The Worshipers God Is Seeking

1/4/2026
This week, Pastor Wes kicks off our new series on what it really means to worship. We’ll explore the biblical definition of worship and how it shapes the way we live, work, love, and follow Jesus beyond Sunday mornings. Jesus tells us we are called to worship in spirit and in truth—with our whole hearts and our everyday lives. Worship is more than a song. More than a Sunday moment. More than what happens when the music starts. If you’ve ever limited worship to a song set, this message will challenge your perspective and call you into a deeper level of worship with God. #NewWineChurch #NWCKC #Worship #WorshipInSpiritAndTruth #BiblicalWorship

Peace | Christmas 2025

12/23/2025
At Christmas, we celebrate more than a moment in history—we celebrate the moment Heaven came to earth. Since the fall in the garden, humanity had waited, longing for redemption, watching for the fulfillment of God’s perfectly appointed time. The prophecy was spoken: “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” — Isaiah 9:6 The promise was announced: “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord.” — Luke 2:10–11 And the promise was fulfilled: “The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us… full of grace and truth.” — John 1:14 This Christmas, we fix our hearts on the peace that only Christ can bring. Not a temporary peace shaped by circumstances, but a deep and lasting peace rooted in His presence. No matter what is happening in our lives or in the world around us, the Prince of Peace is with us. “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not be afraid.” — John 14:27 May you encounter the peace of Christ this Christmas—a peace that calms anxious hearts, restores weary souls, and reminds us that God is truly with us. 🎄✝️

The Conqueror's Clothes

12/21/2025
In our final message of our Ephesians series, we discover the main theme has been redemption. God had a plan before the foundation of the world—through Jesus—to unite what was broken, to form one new people, and to sum up all things under the headship of Christ. That means history is headed somewhere. Creation is headed somewhere. Your life is headed somewhere. And the destiny of the church is not small. In this message from Ephesians 6:10–20, we walk through the Armor of God—but not as a cute “felt board” lesson. “Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God…” This isn’t a motivational talk. This is a battle briefing. Because the enemy isn’t a minor annoyance. He’s not just a little pest hovering around to make your Christian life inconvenient. Scripture says he comes to steal, kill, and destroy. And Paul says plainly: our struggle is real. Paul isn’t telling you to try harder. He’s telling you to receive strength that isn’t your own. This is not “grit your teeth and be strong.” It’s be strengthened by the Lord. It’s a posture of surrender, dependence, and spiritual clarity. The armor isn’t a bunch of separate religious accessories you have to remember to put on every morning like a checklist. The armor is Christ. Truth? That’s Jesus. Righteousness? That’s Jesus. Peace? That’s Jesus. Salvation? That’s Jesus. The Word? That’s Jesus. Paul’s point is simple and powerful: Put on Christ, and you’ve put on the armor of God. Not your armor. His. The armor of the Conqueror. The armor of the One who already won. Because yes—Jesus did defeat the enemy at the cross. Colossians says He disarmed rulers and authorities and made a public display of them. The enemy is a defeated foe… but until the final day, he hasn’t conceded. That’s why this still feels like warfare sometimes. The outcome is decided, but the conflict is still active. And if the Ephesian believers—living in a city saturated with occultism, spiritual darkness, and pagan worship—needed to be reminded they were in a war… then we probably do too. “The war that’s easiest to lose is the one you don’t know you’re in.” ✅ Your enemy is not people. Paul says our battle isn’t against flesh and blood. People are not the enemy—even the ones who oppose the faith, misunderstand you, frustrate you, or mock you. Something else is at work. And when you realize that, it changes how you pray, how you respond, and how you stand firm. ✅ The enemy’s schemes are real… but so is God’s strength. One of the enemy’s favorite tactics is to poison believers with confusion, compromise, and distortion before they ever get deployed into the world. That’s why doctrine matters. Truth matters. Anchoring yourself in Christ matters. ✅ Spiritual warfare isn’t complicated… it’s anchored in Christ. This message shares a powerful testimony of freedom and healing that didn’t come from a “27-step plan,” a gimmick, or religious theatrics. It came from listening to the Holy Spirit, proclaiming truth, and standing in the authority of Jesus. The proclamation of the gospel is our most powerful weapon. Not hype. Not fear. Not drama. The simple announcement: Jesus is King. He has won. Darkness is on borrowed time. Freedom is available. 🎥 Watch the message. Share it with someone who’s been struggling. And if you need a fresh dose of courage and clarity for the season you’re in—this one is for you. #NWCKC #NewWineChurch #Ephesians6 #ArmorOfGod #SpiritualWarfare #PutOnChrist #StandFirm #JesusIsKing #Victory #Gospel #ChurchFamily #BeStrongInTheLord

Melody Of A Prophet

12/14/2025
In this compelling sermon, Pastor David Poole continues our study through Ephesians 5:1-21, challenging us to look past surface-level sin and identify its true root: self-gratification. He argues that true spiritual warfare lies not just in fighting outward temptations, but in turning our focus outward through genuine thanksgiving to God. David illustrates the crucial difference between the false promises of "artificial lights"—the deceptive allure of worldly sin—and the life-giving freedom found in the true Light of Christ. He emphasizes that God's correction is a diagnostic tool meant to heal us, not punish us, and that His grace makes genuine repentance possible. Ultimately, being "filled with the Spirit" means cultivating an intimate relationship with God where we are "making melody with your heart to the Lord"—transforming our deepest confessions and devotion into a song of hope that shines for others. #Ephesians5 #MelodyOfAProphet #NewWineKC #Sermon #Repentance #SpiritualWarfare #Thankfulness #ChristianLiving
