Religion & Spirituality Podcas

Dear listeners, I wanted to let you know that I am taking a break from my podcast. There are a few reasons for this decision. First and foremost, I want to focus on living out what I have learned from the Bible, rather than just imparting head knowledge to others. I have come to realize that in recent years, I have become a bit of a "Christian Thought Police," believing that everyone would benefit from the wealth of knowledge I possess. But the truth is, I want to focus more on trusting in God and less on making sure I have the "correct" beliefs. I want to learn what it means to truly live out my faith and follow Jesus. In addition, I have not been part of a church since late 2021 and have no plans to return to any church organization in the future. I have come to view churches as being similar to Ted Talks, where we are filled with information but asked to give money 20 times during the lecture. To me, churches seem more like businesses that train people to be "thought police" for everyone around the world. Over the past year, I have related more to the stories of Job and Ecclesiastes than anyone else, not because of suffering, but because of the critical thinking that is present in these books. I am convinced that the primary message of Job is not "why bad things happen to good people," but rather that God wants us to think critically and he has no problem with us questioning him or this world we live in. I used to see myself as being like Job, but I have come to realize that I have been no different than his friends, who were just so wrong about God. For these reasons, and because of some personal life lessons that have completely altered my thinking about God and my conception of church, I am taking a break from my podcast. I may return at some point in the future, but for now, my podcast will be an audio journey of my faith through most of 2021. Thank you for your understanding and for being a part of this journey with me. Sincerely, Zechariah Montera

Righteousness Through One Man

1/17/2022
Have questions on wether or not Jesus actually rose from the dead? Then you are in luck as this is the focal point of this episode. This is one of my longest episodes, and for good reason.
