It is important to realize that God has the perfect plan for each of our lives and has given us what we have for a purpose, it is also critical to understand that time and chance happens to us all (Ecclesiastes 9:11). With all of this in mind, I want to encourage you to not compare yourself or your circumstances to others. God created and appointed you a (insert your divine calling here) unto the nations, Jeremiah 1:5. We are meant to run our own races and everyone will deal with differing setbacks, however we serve a just God and He will never deal us a card that He knows we can not handle. It's September, and with all the talk about the 'great lock-in,' it’s the perfect time to remind ourselves where our focus truly belongs—on Christ. It’s easy to get caught up loving the things of this world, but Scripture calls us to stay grounded in faith. Don’t be like Demas, who abandoned his mission because he loved the present world. Instead, let’s be like Onesimus—once separated, but restored to the kingdom family and made useful for God’s work. ‘Perhaps the reason he was separated from you for a little while was that you might have him back forever’ (Philemon 1:15). When you love someone deeply, you must speak their love language to truly show them how much you care. Each person's love language is unique—it's the way they best understand and experience love. As Christians, we recognize that God is our first love. The Bible says, "We love because He first loved us." In this episode, we’ll explore God's love language and discover practical ways to show Him just how much we love Him in return. We know that God loves us, having demonstrated His love countless times, with the ultimate proof being the sacrifice of His only Son, Jesus Christ. But the real question is: do we love God? Many of us place many other things above Him. A fundamental aspect of being a Christian is encapsulated in Matthew 22:37, which calls us to love the Lord our God. We may know God and even like Him, but when it comes to truly loving Him, can we confidently say yes?

God often calls us by names that reflect the people we are destined to become, even when we struggle to see ourselves in that light. It can be difficult to have faith in our own transformation and to truly believe that we are living according to God's will. Despite the doubts and judgments of others based on our past actions, God sees us for who we are becoming, not who we once were.

Today is Valentine's Day. The day where love is celebrated all around the world. How weird would it be if we celebrated love and we didn't even acknowledge the creator of Love itself. Join Debby as she prays and thanks God for the love we have today.

Sometimes we sin, and it pulls us so far from God. We feel like God is disappointed, and we feel guilty. In the midst of all these thoughts we start to feel like we are unforgivable. In this episode we discuss this feeling of guilt, and we walk through scripture in search for an answer to the question, "Can God Really Forgive Me?"
