THY testimonies are my delight and counselors (Psalm 119:24)

5/1/2026
(This podcast was previously published on June 2, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... I know what I know because I read it in the Bible and I am certain that the Bible is the inspired word of God as the apostle Paul said it is: 2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. Concerning the way to use the Old Testament, Paul says: I Corinthians 10:1-12 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; 2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat; 4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. 5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. 6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. 7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. 8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. 9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents. 10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. 11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. 12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. So both the Old and New Testament Bible show us the will of God for the Christians today. 💥💥💥💥💥 * For writings on additional subjects, click here: Jesus Ministries Exhortations Blog

Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee (Proverbs 4:24)

4/30/2026
(This podcast was previously published on June 25, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... The word, "froward", in the Bible means: stubbornly unruly If a person is stubbornly unruly, we must put him far from us, staying away from that person, knowing of his evil speaking. We cannot take his evil words into our own heart. For if we do, we will find his evil coming out of our own mouth at some point in time. Words that go into our heart bear fruit, whether good or bad. Jesus says: for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. (Matthew 12:34) II Corinthians 6 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be MY people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be MY sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. 💥💥💥💥💥 * For writings on additional subjects, click here: Jesus Ministries Exhortations Blog

They served their idols which were a snare to them (Psalm 106:36)

4/29/2026
(This podcast was previously published on June 30, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... There are many church goers who worship various idols today. Some church goers pray to dead people. They think dead people watch over them and protect them. Jesus tells us dead people are asleep. Dead people cannot watch over anyone who is living nor do dead people answer prayers. John 11:1 Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. 2 (It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped HIS feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.) 3 Therefore his sisters sent unto HIM, saying, Lord, behold, he whom THOU lovest is sick. 4 When Jesus heard that, HE said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby. 5 Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus. 6 When HE had heard therefore that he was sick, HE abode two days still in the same place where HE was. 11 Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. 12 Then said HIS disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well. 13 Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that HE had spoken of taking of rest in sleep. 14 Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead. God answers our prayers when we pray according to the will of God. I John 5:14-15 And this is the confidence that we have in HIM, that, if we ask any thing according to HIS will, HE heareth us: And if we know that HE hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of HIM. Many church goers worship their church buildings, and their preachers, and their stained glass windows, and their choirs ... but they do not worship the word of God: 2 Timothy 3:1; 5 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come ... 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. The building is not the church. We who are born of the Spirit of God are the church. I Corinthians 3 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? I Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? Some church goers make days of the week and other things into idols: Christmas, Easter, lighting of candles, water which they call "holy", mother's day and such. There are church goers who put objects in religion thinking these objects have certain powers: rosaries, medallions by whom they pray to dead people, candles. Check the New Testament Bible, for if the object of worship is not described in the NT Bible, then you are worshiping an idol. Psalm 106:36 They served their idols which were a snare to them. 💥💥💥💥💥 * For writings on additional subjects, click here: Jesus Ministries Exhortations Blog

They were mingled among the heathen and learned their works (Psalm 106:35)

4/28/2026
(This podcast was previously published on July 1, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... When we are born again, God changes us to a new creature. We are not like we once were. We often do not want to do those things we once did. Most of us who have been born again now want to read the Bible. We also want to be with other Christians who are believers and try to do the Word of God. We are very different after we are born again. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. In the Old Testament, God gave the people this instruction: Numbers 33:50-53 And the LORD spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan; Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places: And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it. 55 But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell. 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

They soon forgot HIS works; they waited not for HIS counsel (Psalm 106:13)

4/27/2026
(This podcast was previously published on June 29, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Here are several mistakes made by the people in the Old Testament as they went through the wilderness. I Corinthians 10:6-11 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. (murmur means: to complain, especially a continual complaining under your breathe) 11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. Psalm 106 13 They soon forgat HIS works; they waited not for HIS counsel: 14 But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert. 15 And HE gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul. 16 They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the LORD. 17 The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram. 18 And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked. 19 They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image. 20 Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass. 21 They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt; 💥💥💥💥💥 * For writings on additional subjects, click here: Jesus Ministries Exhortations Blog

HIS truth shall be thy shield and buckler (Psalm 91)

4/26/2026
(This podcast was previously published on July 28, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... The apostle Paul tells us not to live as the pagans live. When someone dies, Paul urges us to sorrow not as those persons who have no hope. Instead believe in the resurrection of the dead in Christ. And show that truth. I Thessalonians 4:13-17 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with HIM. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (go ahead of) them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words. Why do we meet them in the air? This present heaven and earth will be destroyed by God. We will meet in the air for we will be taken to that new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness. II Peter 3:10-13 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless. Those who have been raised from the dead and those who have been raised from off this present earth meet Jesus in the air and are taken to that new heaven and new earth which is created by God for the saints of God, new Jerusalem. Revelation 21:1-5 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. *** I Corinthians 15:49-52 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 💥💥💥💥💥 * For writings on additional subjects, click here: Jesus Ministries Exhortations Blog

Mini-Podcast: Lot chose to live in Sodom because it was well watered and pretty. But the men of Sodom were exceedingly wicked before the Lord.

4/25/2026
(This podcast was previously published on July 14, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... The wrath of God, the great tribulation, is coming upon this world because of the increase of evil in this present world. The evil we see today is a sign showing us the closeness of the coming of Jesus and the wrath of God that will come at the end of this present world. No man knows exactly when the great tribulation will come or when Jesus will return to gather the elect from off this present earth, but we have signs. When we see the leaves appear on the trees don't we know spring is upon us? Jesus explains to us in Luke 21, that it will be the same today. As the wickedness increases around us and men approve wickedness, this signals the pending wrath of God that will come upon this world. One of the signs is increase of homosexuals, as it was in the day of Sodom before God destroyed Sodom. (Genesis 19) What God says in Bible about homosexuals and lesbians: Romans 1:26-27 ... For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. So we know this is one of the sins which brings the wrath of God in the destruction at the end of this present world. As we see the increase of this sins, we can know the wrath of God is not far away. ***** Genesis 19 And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground; (Angels look like natural men. Angels do not have wings. Cherubims have wings, not angels.) 2 And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night. 3 And he (Lot) pressed upon them greatly; (Lot knew the evil of men in Sodom and he was trying to protect these 2 "men" from the evil that he knew could come if they remained in the street of Sodom overnight. Lot did not know these 2 men were actually angels of God.) and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat. 4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter: (These homosexuals were from every quarter of the city of Sodom. Sodom was filled with homosexuals.) 5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them. ("know them" ... have sex with them) 6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him, 7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly. (Lot knew the wickedness planned against these 2 strangers by the men of Sodom. It is amazing that Lot called the men of Sodom "brethren", and that Lot chose to live among the wickedness of this city for Lot could have lived anywhere. Yet Lot was righteous for we read that in II Peter 2:7-9 And (God) delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: 8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) Genesis 19 8 (Lot said) Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof. 9 And they (the men of Sodom) said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow (Lot) came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they...

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23)

4/24/2026
(This podcast was previously published on June 24 , 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Matthew 12:33-37 Jesus says: Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. 34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. 35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. 36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. 💥💥💥💥💥 * For writings on additional subjects, click here: Jesus Ministries Exhortations Blog

Store up those words you have heard from God and keep them before you day and night

4/23/2026
(This podcast was previously published on June 23, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Jesus says: My sheep hear MY voice. And I know them. And they follow ME. (John 10:27) Jesus speaks to us, HIS elect, HIS children. Jesus guides us as we walk on this earth so we can go in HIS way, following HIM, doing that which HE says. We learn to hear HIM when HE brings information to us. We know HIS voice and a voice of a stranger we will not follow, but we will flee from the voice of a stranger. (John 10:4-5) It is very important for each of us to collect those scriptures which are called to our attention by the Holy Spirit bringing those scriptures to our mind for we must keep those specific scriptures before us to give us the strength to go in the instruction of those scriptures as we walk on this earth. Those scriptures brought by the Holy Spirit to our minds are special messages from God at that point in time to us! They are exactly what we need! Psalm 1:1-3 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in HIS law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. We see the same promise in the following scripture: Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Proverbs 4:20-23 God says: 20 My son, attend to MY words; incline thine ear unto MY sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. When we see that Word from God, but do not know how to do that Word in our lives, we can ask God for His wisdom. God promises to give us HIS wisdom when we ask in faith for wisdom. James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. Let us learn to call on God immediately each time we are frightened or each time we need help. God will show us what to do and give us that which we need to enable us to go forward in peace and in success and in assurance on this present earth as long as God chooses to leave us on this earth. 💥💥💥💥💥 * For writings on additional subjects, click here: Jesus Ministries Exhortations Blog

Solomon warns the young men about "strange women"

4/22/2026
(This podcast was previously published on December 8, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Three times in the early chapters of Proverbs, king Solomon warns the young men concerning the "strange women" and tells the young men what will happen to them if they choose to go after a "strange woman". Proverbs 5 1 My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding: 2 That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge. 3 For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil: 4 But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword. 5 Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell. 6 Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them. 7 Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of MY mouth. 8 Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house: 9 Lest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel: 10 Lest strangers be filled with thy wealth; and thy labours be in the house of a stranger; 11 And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed, 12 And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof; 13 And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me! 14 I was almost in all evil in the midst of the congregation and assembly. 15 Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well. 16 Let thy fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters in the streets. 17 Let them be only thine own, and not strangers' with thee. 18 Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth. 19 Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love. 20 And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger? 21 For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and HE pondereth all his goings. 22 His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins. 23 He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray. Death and destruction are the fate of the man who follows after "a strange woman". (Also see: Proverbs 6 & Proverbs 7) 💥💥💥 Proverbs 6 23 For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life: 24 To keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman. 25 Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids. 26 For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life. 27 Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned? 28 Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned? 29 So he that goeth in to his neighbour's wife; whosoever toucheth her shall not be innocent. 30 Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry; 31 But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house. 32 But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul. 33 A wound and dishonour shall he get; and his reproach shall not be wiped away. 34 For jealousy is the rage of a man: therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance. 35 He will not regard any ransom; neither will he rest content, though thou givest many gifts. 💥💥💥 Proverbs 7 1 MY son, keep MY words, and lay up MY commandments with thee. 2 Keep MY commandments, and live; and MY law as the apple of thine eye. 3 Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart. 4 Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman: 5 That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words. 6 For at the window of my house I looked...

When you go in the way of God's wisdom, you will not stumble

4/21/2026
(This podcast was previously published on June 21, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... God knows future: Often people go forward and things happen and they say, "If only that hadn't happened it would have worked." Before making decisions, before going forward, ask God for HIS wisdom. We have a promise from God that if we ask God for wisdom, HE will give us wisdom. James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. John 5:30 Jesus said: I can of MINE own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and MY judgment is just; because I seek not MINE own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent ME. John 14:26 Jesus said: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 16:13 Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear, that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come. Other scriptures: Proverbs 4:11-13 I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths. When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble. Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life. Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Wisdom is from God

4/20/2026
(This podcast was previously published on January 2, 2022) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. Daniel 2:20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are HIS: II Corinthians 1:12 For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward. Psalm 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do HIS commandments: HIS praise endureth for ever. The fear of the Lord is the understanding that God knows what is best for us. So when we read the Word of God or hear a word directly from God, we know that is the way to go and to go any other way is to our detriment and destruction. We would be afraid to go any other way after hearing a word from God. Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 4/19/2026
(This podcast was previously published on June 18, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Proverbs 3 19 The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath HE established the heavens. 20 By HIS knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew. 21 My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion: 22 So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck. 23 Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble. 24 When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet. We have access to God's wisdom at all times and in all things. All we need to do is ask God for wisdom in the issues of this life. James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 💥💥💥💥💥 * For writings on additional subjects, click here: Jesus Ministries Exhortations Blog

Mini Podcast: Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. (Proverbs 3:7)

4/18/2026
(This podcast was previously published on June 16, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... So many people want to be wise of themselves and have other people praise them for their wisdom. Not only is this way very dangerous, but it can be deadly to us. God knows the future. If we try to plan out things without asking God, we can easily destroy ourselves with the unexpected. Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Concerning wisdom: James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. God knows the future! So often a person who plans without consulting God will later say, "If only that hadn't happened." 💥💥💥💥💥 * For writings on additional subjects, click here: Jesus Ministries Exhortations Blog

Mini Podcast: In all thy ways acknowledge HIM, and HE shall direct thy paths (Proverbs 3:6)

4/17/2026
(This podcast was previously published on June 14, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. Everything depends on this: "Was it God telling me to do this thing?" How do you know it was God? If it was God telling you to do this, you can go forward in confidence. Joshua 1:9 God says: Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. If God confirms to you that "this" is what HE wants you to do, then you can go forward with assurance knowing the following. Proverbs 21:30-31 There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD. The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD. 💥💥💥💥💥 * For writings on additional subjects, click here: Jesus Ministries Exhortations Blog

Mini Podcast: Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5)

4/16/2026
(This podcast was previously published on June 13, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... If we have the Word of God on the subject, that is all we need! We can go forward securely when we have heard from God. James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. Proverbs 21:30-31 There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD. The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD. If God has told us something, there is no counsel against that Word. Example: A word from God to me concerning a court trial: "Don't testify" and how everyone around me fought against that word given to me by God. 💥💥💥💥💥 * For writings on additional subjects, click here: Jesus Ministries Exhortations Blog

Mini Podcast: Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted (Psa. 107:17)

4/15/2026
(This podcast was previously published on, June 8, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Sometimes we are bringing problems upon ourselves. I did this as a new Christian. And I suffered more than I had to suffer until I recognized that I was causing the problem to come upon me. (On this Podcast I will tell of this situation and how I got free.) Psalm 107 4 They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in. 5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them. 6 Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and HE delivered them out of their distresses. 7 And HE led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation. 8 Oh that men would praise the LORD for HIS goodness, and for HIS wonderful works to the children of men! 9 For HE satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. 10 Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron; 11 Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High: 17 Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted. 19-20 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and HE saveth them out of their distresses. HE sent HIS word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Remember to pray, asking God to give you wisdom before you do anything. James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 💥💥💥💥💥 * For writings on additional subjects, click here: Jesus Ministries Exhortations Blog

Mini Podcast: Wisdom from God is more precious than rubies

4/12/2026
(This podcast was previously published on June 17, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... As born again Christians, we have access to wisdom from God. This makes all the difference for those of us who understand this and call on God for HIS wisdom in the issues of this present life. Proverbs 3 13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. 14 For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. 15 She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. 16 Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour. 17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. 18 She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her. Nothing equals wisdom that comes to us from God by HIS Spirit! James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. Psalm 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do HIS commandments: HIS praise endureth for ever. 💥💥💥💥💥 * For writings on additional subjects, click here: Jesus Ministries Exhortations Blog
