The term “God of Gaps” was coined to describe how God is cited as the answer to mysteries that have not yet been scientifically explained. But it might also represent the divide between how we act while claiming to be Christians and how we should act as Christians.

God's plan of salvation, of deliverance is finally completed on this day!

God does great things in our world and the greatest of them are through children.

Sometimes we are looking so hard that we miss the real message!

Let us start new again in our discipleship for 2026.

Jesus taught that we all need each other and that we are connected.

As we enter a new year, Hebrews 2 reminds us that Christ did not merely come to save us abstractly, but to live a truly human life of righteousness before God. In taking on flesh and blood, He sanctified ordinary obedience—trust, faithfulness, endurance—and showed us what it looks like to live as a son fully dependent on the Father. Augustine teaches that our loves are disordered, and Christ reorders them by example as well as by grace, teaching us how rightly to love God and neighbor. The humanity of Christ is therefore not only our comfort but our pattern: He goes before us as the pioneer of a faithful human life. As the year turns, we are called not to invent a new self, but to be conformed more deeply to the righteous life of the Son who became our brother.

There is not much know about the man Joseph. But his service and ministry touches us all.

Love is the way to honor God and help others.

How would we respond to a great call of God on our life?

During this time of Advent, we should remember the great hope for the Messiah that was present within the hearts of old Israel throughout the generations: the hope that the seed of Jesse will rule over all the nations and the child of Eve will one day crush the serpent's head. The hope that had been placed in the Messiah was indeed worthwhile and exists as a present reality for us today. When we 21st century believers look around and observe death, despair, and evil forces, we can instead look to God like one looks toward an evergreen tree in the midst of the decay of winter. It's hope stands eternal--a locus of vibrancy and life amidst a backdrop of death. That is our hope forever. Amen.

We can give thanks to God by revealing His love to others.
