Let's demystify the prophetic! It is not only for the ones in the office of the Prophet or the “anointed” ones. It’s a gift that can be asked for and developed through teaching, exposure, experience, practice, and sheer hunger.

We all make choices every day about what gets our attention. Today we explore an amazing story of one woman choosing the ONE thing of highest value, even breaking cultural norms to do so. Jesus lifts her up as an example of a true disciple.

There is a somber sobriety in all four of the Gospels: on “Palm Sunday” the crowd hailed Jesus as the Messiah King AND on “Good Friday” the same crowd shouted “Crucify Him.” Is Jesus defining the terms of His Kingship in your life, or are you?

The Abundant Life – Jesus came so that we may have it. But how does one access it? At the very foundation, it begins with a seed of faith. However, if we put our proverbial hands in the ground – the abundance available to us goes beyond what we can ever fathom or imagine.

Discipline and self-control are not just for certain seasons, but a way of life to walk in communion with God and see God’s Kingdom advance with power.

God has given us the enormous privilege and responsibility to fan into flame the gifts he has given us, receive assignments of mission, and make disciples as we go about life.

We are not a church that just wants to go through the motions so we can get a gold star on our good person belt, we are joyfully serious about following Jesus and learning to live into everything that he purchased on the cross for us and the world. The prophetic is a very powerful and needed gift that can quite literally change the course of history, bless many lives, and save you from much heartache. We are God’s people and we have the privilege to hear His voice and partner with him to see His Kingdom come.

Thanksgiving is not simply a great once-a-year practice. For God’s people, it is a Way of Life. We are a people of Gratitude because we are a people of Grace.

With only a warm smile of pure goodness and steadfast love, God is pursuing us every day. Our response to his pursuit is absolutely crucial to whether or not we experience Holy collisions of Heaven and earth.
