When it comes to sex, culture has given us plenty of messages—most of them cheap, distorted, and hollow. But here’s the truth: sex was God’s idea. It’s not dirty. It’s not shameful. It’s sacred. God created sex to reflect His design for intimacy, unity, and even creativity. But when sin entered the story, this gift was twisted. What was meant to bond us became casual. What was meant to be cherished became consumed. What was meant to bring joy became tainted by shame. That’s why God gives us boundaries. Not because He wants to take away our joy, but because He wants to protect it. Boundaries aren’t about limitation; they’re about preservation. Real freedom doesn’t come from doing whatever feels good in the moment. Real freedom comes from aligning our desires with God’s design. Purity empowers us to build trust, to guard our hearts, and to experience intimacy as God intended to be deep, lasting, life-giving. So, here’s the challenge: what does it look like for you to honor God with your sexual choices this week? Wherever you are, the invitation is the same: don’t settle for the world’s version of sex. Shed the shame, hurt and brokenness of the world and step into God’s vision of sex that brings freedom, joy, and a love that endures.

When it comes to relationships, everyone has a script. Culture hands us one version: swipe right, move on when it gets hard, chase what feels good in the moment. It’s a script that treats love and sex like fast food: cheap, convenient, and instantly forgettable. God didn’t create marriage or love to be disposable; He created it to reflect His own faithful, steadfast love for us. Many of us try to live by culture’s script but still expect God’s results. If we treat relationships like entertainment, we shouldn’t be surprised when they break down like a bad Netflix series. True intimacy requires intention. It requires boundaries. It requires accountability. God’s way isn’t just about surviving love, it’s about thriving in it. His design leads to trust, safety, joy, and a love that endures for a lifetime. So the question for us this week is: which script are we going to follow? The world’s version that promises freedom but leaves us empty or God’s covenant, which asks for everything but in return gives us more than we could ever imagine?

Every life has moments that change everything...moments that divide our story into before and after. Easter is the greatest turning point in human history. What seemed like the end became a beginning. What looked like defeat became victory. When Jesus walked out of the grave, everything changed forever. This Easter, we will celebrate the resurrection of Christ and explore what happens when His victory becomes personal, when faith moves from curiosity to commitment, from belief to new life. No matter where you are in your journey, this Easter invites you to encounter the risen Jesus and consider a powerful possibility: this could be your turning point.

Good Friday invites us to slow down and truly look at the cross—not as a symbol we glance at, but as the place where we honestly face our sin and the depth of God’s love. The cross reveals both the seriousness of our brokenness and the incredible grace of Christ, who gave Himself to forgive, restore, and make peace with God possible. When we see the cost of that sacrifice, it moves us beyond gratitude into transformation. The cross doesn’t just change our eternity—it reshapes how we live, love, forgive, and follow Jesus every day.

Palm Sunday begins with celebration—crowds cheering, palm branches waving, and voices shouting “Hosanna!” as Jesus enters Jerusalem like a king. But within days, the same crowd will turn. What changed? This message explores the tension between following Jesus when it’s exciting and following Him when it’s difficult. Because at some point, everyone has to decide: when the momentum shifts and truth becomes uncomfortable, will you follow the crowd… or will you stay?

Most people avoid conflict because they believe peace means the absence of tension. So we bury issues, tiptoe around emotions, and pretend everything is fine. But unresolved conflict always resurfaces. Jesus never avoided conflict—He engaged it with grace, truth, and a desire for true peace, not fake peace. Healthy conflict is one of the most important skills for emotional and relational maturity. When we face what lies beneath our reactions, fears, and relational patterns, we discover that Jesus wants to transform not just what we feel but how we handle tension in every relationship.

Many Christians try to love others by doing everything for everyone—saying yes to everything, burning both ends of the candle, and calling it “serving like Jesus.” But even Jesus embraced His human limits. He didn’t meet every need, perform every miracle, preach every sermon, or respond to every request. If Jesus lived with limits, why do we believe we shouldn’t? Ignoring our limits leads to exhaustion, resentment, and emotional collapse. But embracing God - given limits leads to freedom, peace, and sustainable love. This sermon will help us recognize our emotional, relational, and physical limits so we can serve from wholeness, not burnout.

We often treat anger, sadness, fear, shame, or hurt as signs of spiritual failure— emotions to hide, suppress, or “pray away.” But what if these emotions are signals from God, pointing to places where He wants to heal and free us? Our past shapes us more than we realize. Family patterns, wounds, false identities, and unhealed memories all lie beneath the surface until we face them. Jesus invites us to live a new kind of life—one where emotional honesty and spiritual formation go hand in hand. The journey starts with silence, solitude, and truth-telling before God. It’s here that He reveals what we’ve buried and begins transforming us from the inside out.

You read your Bible, you pray, you serve, and you want to follow Jesus well. But something inside still feels…off. Maybe you say “yes” when you’re exhausted because you fear disappointing people. Maybe you pretend to agree to keep the peace. Maybe you feel resentful when things don’t go your way, but don’t know why. Could it be that your spiritual life looks healthy on the outside while something unhealthy is happening beneath the surface? When we ignore our emotional life, we misapply Scripture, live reactionary rather than responsive lives, and limit our ability to love God and others deeply. This sermon will expose the problem of emotional immaturity and reveal what the Bible teaches about the emotional life God designed for us.

Every vision calls for a moment of commitment. This week, we will come together as one church family to take bold steps of faith, making pledges that will launch the Circle the City vision into motion. It’s not about equal gifts but equal sacrifice and each person playing their part in God’s greater story. The big idea: when we commit together, God multiplies our faith and expands His kingdom.

God’s vision is always bigger than what we can accomplish on our own—it requires a step of faith through generosity. This week, we will invite everyone to begin a generosity journey, learning that giving is less about money and more about trust in God. We’ll teach the pledge process and show how generosity unlocks multiplied impact for our city and eternal fruit in our lives. The big idea: generosity is the pathway to joining God’s work.

Vision becomes reality through a clear plan. This week we will lay out the Circle the City project—what we’re building, how much it will cost, and how it will serve as a vehicle for revival. Our congregation will see how launching new campuses will create hubs of hope across the region, multiplying ministry impact for decades. The big idea: when we understand the “what” and “how,” faith meets action.

Every movement of God begins with a vision. This week we will unveil the Circle the City vision—ten years of Spirit-filled expansion that will see revival ripple across our region. From Timonium to the 695 corridor, God is calling us to be bold, to believe big, and to see entire communities renewed. The big idea: when God gives a vision, He also provides the people to carry it forward.

Grace doesn’t stop with you—it’s meant to flow through you to others. When you’ve experienced God’s grace, you’re called to live a life marked by kindness, forgiveness, and love. This week, we’ll explore how grace creates ripples of hope and healing in the world around us. Your life can be a channel of grace, transforming your family, your community, and beyond. Don’t just keep grace—give it away.

Life is hard, and sometimes the weight feels like too much to bear. Grace isn’t just a gift for your past; it’s the strength that carries you forward. God’s grace sustains you when you’re at your weakest, giving you peace in the middle of chaos and hope in the face of despair. This week, we’ll talk about how God’s grace meets you in the mess and gives you exactly what you need to keep going. His grace is enough.

God’s grace has the power to transform you from the inside out, making you into a new creation with a new purpose. This week, we’ll explore how grace takes what’s broken and makes it beautiful. This Christmas, let’s pause to reflect on the mystery and wonder of the incarnation. God is not far off; He is Emmanuel—God with us. Do you know Him? The King of Kings did not enter the world in a grand palace or with royal fanfare but was instead laid in a feeding trough, surrounded by animals and overlooked by the world. God Himself stepped into human history, took on flesh, and bridged the gap between heaven and earth, bringing His presence into the ordinary and inviting us into a relationship with Him. Jesus’ humble arrival in Bethlehem reminds us that God’s greatest work often happens in the most unexpected places, and His presence transforms even the simplest moments into something sacred. Celebrate this Christmas season with the holiest of moments by inviting Jesus to be your Lord and Savior.

More than a season for shopping and wrapping, Christmas is a season for worship. What do you worship during the holiday season? Too many of us worship family, gifts, or meals but forget that the real reason to worship is the Christ child, born to change all of history. God invited two very different groups of people to worship at the manger reminding us that God’s love is available to all, regardless of their status or background. In a field outside Bethlehem, God revealed the birth of his Son to a group of simple, lowly shepherds, the most unlikely recipients of the greatest news in history. But He also sent a star to lead the rich and powerful Kings from the far east to see the manger miracle as well. For all of them, worship was the only appropriate response to what they saw. Whether we feel unworthy of Jesus or offer expensive gifts and offerings, we, too, are invited to make worship a central part of Advent. Adoring Jesus and holding Him high over any of the challenges of the season will unlock the wonder we are looking for. The true heart of Christmas lies in taking time to worship Jesus, acknowledging Him not just as a baby in a manger, but as the Savior of the world. Just as the shepherds and wise men bowed in humble reverence, let your holy moments be marked by adoration and thanksgiving. Moments of worship are holy moments where heaven meets earth.
