Unable to perform Miracles in Nazareth

4/22/2026
MIRACLES — "A prophet is not without honor, except in his hometown and among his relatives and in his own household". Jesus said this in Nazareth, where he was rejected by his family and neighbors. The people of his home town knew Jesus well, but they didn't believe who he was. They called him "the son of Mary" to reject his virgin birth and Messianic claims. Jesus was unable to perform miracles in Nazareth because of their lack of faith. https://amzn.to/3QLEpeehttps://amzn.to/3EnboTFhttps://amzn.to/3X3m9Ba ENJOY Ad-Free content, Bonus episodes, and Extra materials when joining our growing community on https://patreon.com/markvinet SUPPORT this channel by purchasing any product on Amazon using this FREE entry LINK https://amzn.to/3POlrUD (Amazon gives us credit at NO extra charge to you). https://youtube.com/c/TIMELINE_MarkVinethttps://parthenonpodcast.com/historical-jesuswww.parthenonpodcast.com/history-of-north-americahttps://markvinet.com/podcasthttps://www.facebook.com/mark.vinet.9https://twitter.com/MarkVinet_HNAhttps://twitter.com/HistoricalJesuhttps://www.instagram.com/denarynovelshttps://amzn.to/3k8qrGM Audio credits: Hearing Jesus podcast with Rachael Groll, When Jesus isn’t Welcome (Mark 6:1-6) 27sep2024 (Life Audio, Salem Web Network); Rev. Immaculate Conception (Feast of St. Bernadette)

4/16/2026
Celebrated annually on April 16 as a solemn feast day, the anniversary of Bernadette Soubirous' death in 1879. The Immaculate Conception’s observance began with a Papal encyclical by Pope Pius IX, when he formally defined the dogma of the Immaculate Conception in 1854. The Immaculate Conception is the dogma that the Virgin Mary was conceived without original sin. This doctrine states that Mary was preserved from the "stain of sin" from the first moment of her conception through a unique grace from God, granted in anticipation of her role as the mother of Jesus. The annual Feast Day of Our Lady of Lourdes was established in 1890 for February 11 by Pope Leo XIII. Our Lady of Lourdes (Feast of St. Bernadette)

4/16/2026
Bernadette Soubirous' feast day is April 16, the anniversary of her death in 1879. The Virgin Mary gave her name to a 14-year old girl near Lourdes, stating: "I am the Immaculate Conception." Lourdes is a town in southwestern France, in the foothills of the Pyrenees Mountains. It’s known for the Sanctuary of Notre-Dame de Lourdes, a major Catholic pilgrimage site. Each year, millions visit the Grotto of Massabielle (Grotto of the Apparitions) where, the Virgin Mary is said to have appeared 18 times (between 11 February and 16 July in 1858) to Saint Bernadette Soubirous (1844-79). In the grotto or cave, pilgrims can drink or bathe in water flowing from a believed to be, miraculous spring. The annual Feast Day of Our Lady of Lourdes was established in 1890 for February 11 by Pope Leo XIII. Ee276. Jesuit Missionaries

4/13/2026
The Company of Jesus (to indicate its military spirit) also called "The Society of Jesus", were linguists, explorers and ethnographers. They learned New World Indigenous languages and customs, developed dictionaries and grammars, translated and preserved much of the history and traditions in their documents—which include details of their missions and activities and both the successes and failures of the Jesuits in their attempts to convert Indigenous peoples. In North America, their goal was to bring lost souls to Christianity and they were willing to endure hardships and to shed their blood to succeed. E195. 293. Divine Mercy Sunday

4/12/2026
Celebrated on the Sunday after Easter, that is the Second Sunday of Easter, Divine Mercy Sunday is a major feast day in the Catholic Church dedicated to the devotion of God's mercy. Instituted by Pope St. John Paul II in 2000, it stems from revelations to St. Faustina Kowalska (1905-38), offering complete forgiveness of sins and punishment, that is, a plenary indulgence, to those who receive Communion and go to confession. Let's learn more about the theological significance of this feast for many Christians around the world with bible scholar Bishop Robert Barron. https://amzn.to/44W7nwNhttps://amzn.to/4mTIkUfhttps://amzn.to/41rT586https://amzn.to/4tomMTXhttps://amzn.to/3AozdbL ENJOY Ad-Free content, Bonus episodes, and Extra materials when joining our growing community on https://patreon.com/markvinet SUPPORT this channel by purchasing any product on Amazon using this FREE entry LINK https://amzn.to/3POlrUD (Amazon gives us credit at NO extra charge to you). https://youtube.com/c/TIMELINE_MarkVinetwww.parthenonpodcast.com/history-of-north-americahttps://markvinet.com/podcasthttps://www.facebook.com/mark.vinet.9https://twitter.com/HistoricalJesuhttps://www.instagram.com/denarynovelshttps://amzn.to/3k8qrGM Audio credits: Bishop Barron’s Sunday Sermons — Both His Wounds and His Peace, 08apr2026).
