The Eternity Series Pt 2 | Pastor Alvin III

4/28/2026
In this message titled Don’t Underestimate the Process, Pastor Alvin reminds us that following Jesus isn’t just about where we’re going, it’s about how we get there. Through passages like John 10:4-5 and 1 Corinthians 3:10-15, we see that both God and the enemy may point to similar outcomes, but the difference is always in the process. God’s way leads through obedience, humility, and trust. The enemy’s way often shortcuts what God has said, pushing us toward disobedience and immediate gratification. This message challenges us to look deeper than what’s visible. Are we building our lives on what people see, or on what God sees? Because in the end, everything will be tested, and only what’s built on the right foundation will remain. Don’t ignore the process. Don’t harden your heart. What you build today is shaping what lasts forever. Scripture references: 3:10 ABOUT US At Nashville Life Church, our vision is dedicated to following Jesus & building leaders. The Eternity Series Pt I | Pastor Alvin III

4/21/2026
In the first installment of the series on eternity, Pastor Alvin walks through the story of the rich man and Lazarus to challenge how we view success, comfort, and eternity. Through this passage, Jesus confronts us with a sobering truth. What we experience now is not the full picture. Life on earth is temporary, but eternity is not. This message challenges us to examine our hearts, stay hungry for what’s beyond this life, and make decisions that last forever. Because what you gain now is not worth losing what God has prepared for later. Now or Later | Pastor Alvin II

4/13/2026
In this message titled Now or Later, Pastor Alvin unpacks the tension between living for what we can receive now and what God has promised later. Jesus makes it clear that both are available, but we don’t get both. This message challenges us to examine our motives, trust that God is a rewarder, and choose what lasts over what’s immediate. Because what God has prepared for you will always be worth the wait. Still Building Pt. 5 | Alvin Love III

3/30/2026
What if your struggle isn’t a setback, but part of the story God is writing? As we wrap up our Still Building series, Pastor Alvin brings a powerful reminder that following Jesus doesn’t mean avoiding hardship, it means walking through it with purpose. Looking at Psalm 34:19 and John 16:33, this message reveals a truth many of us don’t expect. The righteous will face affliction. But through Jesus, we are promised something greater than avoidance. We are promised deliverance. Righteousness isn’t something we achieve on our own. It’s a relationship made possible through Jesus, and with it comes the assurance that every trial we face is not wasted. God uses what we go through to shape us, strengthen us, and reveal His power in our lives. You may be in a valley right now, but you’re not stuck there. In Christ, you don’t just go to the fire, you go through it. And on the other side, God is able to use your story to bring hope, healing, and even salvation to others. Anniversary Sunday - Still Building Pt. 4 | Alvin Love III

3/24/2026
Happy Anniversary Sunday, Nashville Life family! 🎉 As we celebrate all that God has done over the last 14 years and all He’s still building, Pastor Alvin continues our Still Building series with a powerful reminder that we are here because of God’s mercy, not our perfection. Looking at Psalm 51 and the heart behind true repentance, this message centers on the truth that the sacrifice for our sins has already been made. God loved us first, and everything we do is simply a response to that love, not an attempt to earn it. Through gratitude, humility, and agreement, we’re invited to align our lives with God’s vision. Your past does not define your future. God’s vision for your life looks nothing like where you’ve been, and He’s calling you to trust it as He continues building you and His church. Still Building Part 3 | Alvin Love III

3/16/2026
As Nashville Life prepares to celebrate 14 years as a church, Pastor Alvin continues our anniversary theme, Still Building, by reminding us that God is still at work in our lives and in His church. Looking at Jesus’ words in Matthew 16 and the vision of the early church, this message highlights God’s desire to build disciples who grow in maturity, unity, and purpose. The church was never meant to be a finished product. It’s a living community where God shapes us while also using us to help others grow. One of the most powerful reminders in this message is that you don’t have to wait until your life is perfect to be used by God. We will always have needs, but God calls us to be both people who depend on Him and people who help others at the same time. God sees the brokenness of the world, and His answer is the church. As He continues building His people, He invites us to say yes to being part of the solution. Still Building Part 2 | Alvin Love III

3/9/2026
What if the thing you think matters most to God isn’t what He’s focused on at all? Continuing this month’s anniversary theme, Still Building, Pastor Alvin dives deeper into Luke 15 and unpacks the story of the prodigal son in a message titled “It Doesn’t Matter.” At the center of this message are three powerful words: repentance, reunion, and restoration. Through Jesus, the debt of our sin has already been paid, and God’s desire is not to condemn us, but to welcome us home. No matter how far you think you’ve gone, you haven’t out-sinned the mercy of God. His grace is greater than our mistakes, and His arms are always open to welcome us back. Still Building Part 1 | Alvin Love III

3/4/2026
What if leadership in God’s Kingdom isn’t about being seen, but about being underneath? As we celebrate 14 years as a church and reflect on our anniversary theme, Still Building, Pastor Alvin walks through the story of the prodigal son and challenges us to rethink what it truly means to follow Jesus. Building leaders is really about building servants. And servants are the ones who prepare the table, welcome the lost home, and help carry the weight for others. At the center of this message is the power of being underneath. Following Jesus is a gradual process where your sense of self-importance decreases while your love for others increases. It can feel like you’re going into the ground, but in reality, God is positioning you to lift others up. Just as Jesus went underneath us and raised us with Him, we’re called to take that same posture in our homes, our church, and our city. Don’t mistake someone else being celebrated for your rejection. “Other people are important too” does not mean they are more important than you. The Father is able to handle your needs too. Because when you stay in the house, everything He has is already yours. ABOUT US At Nashville Life Church, our vision is dedicated to following Jesus & building leaders. Vision Sunday | Pastor Alvin III

2/24/2026
The vision for 2026 is more than just a strategic plan; it is a direct challenge to every member of our community. This week during Vision Sunday, Pastor Alvin explains why the "who" must always precede the "what" if we hope to see a lasting impact in our city and beyond. As we continue to pursue the vision, we learn growth requires much more than just additional space—it requires a community anchored in unity, connection, and a ready discipleship. Drawing from the wisdom of Exodus, Ephesians, and the Parable of the Sower, this episode explores why revival is only as sustainable as the people willing to build it, challenging us to move beyond a fleeting moment and step fully into our collective mission. Scripture references: Exodus 18:17-26 Matthew 13 Mark 4 Ephesians 4:12-16 Isaiah 6:1-8 ABOUT US At Nashville Life Church, our vision is dedicated to following Jesus & building leaders. Vision Pt 2 | Pastor Alvin III

2/17/2026
Last week, we laid the foundation: Knowing God and Finding Freedom. But as many of us know, the real challenge isn’t just finding freedom—it’s keeping it. In this week’s episode, Pastor Alvin walks us through the second half of our vision: Discovering Purpose and Making a Difference. Why do so many of us find it difficult to remain free? The answer often lies in our surroundings. Through the lens of Matthew 12, Pastor Alvin teaches that freedom cannot exist in a vacuum. To sustain your breakthrough, you must be intentional about your environment, ensuring you are consistently tethered to individuals and communities that are conducive to healing. If you’ve ever felt stuck between your past healing and your future calling, this message is your roadmap to building a life that doesn’t just "get free," but stays free to make a lasting impact. Vision Pt 1 | Pastor Alvin III

2/10/2026
Pastor Alvin unpacks the first two steps of our church’s vision and why they are foundational for every believer. Knowing God is not about getting your life together first. It begins with coming to Jesus and trusting the mercy that brings us from death to life. But knowing God is only the beginning. Jesus also invites us to find freedom by laying aside the weights that slow us down. Shame, fear, regret, pride, and isolation all keep us from running the race God has set before us. Through Scripture and practical teaching, this message shows how freedom is sustained through community and why walking with others creates the kind of environment where healing lasts. This is the starting point. Knowing God and finding freedom prepare us for what’s next as we discover our purpose and learn how to make a difference. The Greatest Year | Pastor Pearson Pretorius

2/8/2026
This week, we are honored to welcome back Pearson Pretorius from 3C Church in South Africa for a powerful, paradigm-shifting message. While many seek a year of "glory" or "blessing," Pastor Pearson challenges us to pursue something deeper: The Greatest Year. Drawing from Colossians 2, this episode is a call to move away from "outside-in" Christianity—where we strive for religious approval—and into an "inside-out" life fueled by the Spirit. If you’ve felt exhausted by the pressure to "do more" for God, this message is your invitation to trade religious effort for true communion. In this episode, we discuss: Stop striving for a breakthrough and start living from the rest that Christ has already provided. Because God doesn’t want you to do more; He wants you to seek more. Pray First: The Prayer of Jabez | Pastor Alvin III

1/22/2026
In Part 2 of our Pray First series, Pastor Alvin walks through the Prayer of Jabez and shows how bold, faith-filled prayer positions us to live beyond our past, our shame, and our self-sufficiency. Jabez’s life began with pain, but his prayer pointed toward blessing, influence, and purpose. This message challenges us to trust God’s heart, ask for His blessing without fear, depend on His presence, and walk in His protection. Because when we pray first, we stop leaning on ourselves and start living as people called to make an eternal difference. Prayer isn’t passive. The Invitation Pt 4 | Pastor Alvin III

1/3/2026
In Part 4 of The Invitation series, Pastor Alvin Love III reveals that God is inviting us into a legacy of faith. From the beginning of Scripture, God has always worked through family and lineage. His people are connected by one defining trait: faith. A faith that pursues God’s promises even when they cannot yet be seen. Drawing from Hebrews 11 and Hebrews 12, this message reminds us that when we say yes to Jesus, we are welcomed into God’s family and entrusted with carrying that legacy forward. Though the journey of faith includes hardship and endurance, Jesus remains the author and finisher of our faith. Discover why faith is God’s family legacy, why perseverance matters, and why your life is part of a much bigger story. The Invitation Pt3 | Pastor Alvin III

1/3/2026
In Part 3 of The Invitation series, Pastor Alvin Love III shares a Christmas message centered on God’s heart for family. While Jesus is the Messiah, King of Kings, and Savior, Scripture also calls Him the Son. And that distinction reveals the purpose of His coming. Through Jesus, God is inviting humanity back into His family. Drawing from Isaiah 9, Matthew 7, John 8, and Romans 8, this message shows that God’s desire has always been togetherness. Not distance. Not religion. Family. Natural families are a gift, but they last only a lifetime. God’s family, formed through adoption in Christ, lasts forever. Discover why Jesus is the invitation, why belonging is the goal, and why accepting the Son is the only way home. The Invitation Pt 2 | Pastor Alvin III

12/21/2025
In the second installment of our series, The Invitation, Pastor Alvin explores the vital distinction between being "free from" something and being "free for" someone. Drawing from the story of Moses and the Israelites, this message reveals a powerful truth: God didn’t liberate His people just so they could live however they pleased; He set them free so they could finally belong to Him. In this episode, we confront the reality that every person is choosing between two masters—one that offers fleeting pleasure ending in destruction, and another that offers a narrow road leading to life, rest, and eternal joy.
