Many followers of Jesus want to share their faith but feel unsure, awkward, or overwhelmed by how to begin. This Easter message brings the question “Who is this Man?” into sharp focus by revealing Jesus as the One who still moves stones. Looking at the resurrection through the lens of Mark 16, we’re reminded that the greatest obstacles we face, discouragement, disappointment, and doubt, are not too heavy for Him. Drawing from Joshua 3, where the Israelites faced the flooded Jordan River during harvest season, an impossible barrier to God’s promised land, we discover that overcoming barriers comes through faith, not sight. This message calls the church to move BEYOND Barriers together, keeping our eyes on Jesus, preparing hearts, stepping out in faith, and watching God do the impossible for both personal breakthroughs and the church’s future.

In Week 2 of our BEYOND series, we look at Joshua 2 and the story of Rahab—an unlikely woman whose courageous faith changed her future and impacted generations to come. As Israel stood before the walls of Jericho, the obstacles were real, but before the miracle came a step of intentional faith. Rahab chose to let go of the security of her city and trust in the God she had heard about—the One who parted the Red Sea and defeated mighty kings. Her scarlet cord became a powerful symbol of salvation and deliverance. This message reminds us that faith doesn’t just believe—it acts. It prepares, it surrenders, and it steps forward even when the outcome isn’t fully visible.

Drawing from Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 6, the sacrificial system of the Old Testament, and Moses’ Tent of Meeting, this message reframes prayer as a living sacrifice—where we die to self, allow God to refine our hearts, and grow in intimacy with Him.
