063 - Embody True Self-Worth

9/7/2023
What would your life be like if you relentlessly lived authentically? Would you be living in the same area? Would you be dating the same person? Would you be spending money on the same things as you are now? In order to find these answers, you must first find your true self-worth. You know you have high self-worth when you believe you are worthy of love, respect, peace, fulfillment, and abundance. You speak up for yourself, you self-validate, and you unconditionally love who you are. You know you are enough just because you exist. When you don’t know who you are, you find yourself through the eyes of others. So it is likely that what others praise you for is what you gravitate towards, and what they shame you for, you shy away from. By living relentlessly authentic, you look inward to your heart’s desire and you go after what you want with confidence. So many of us don’t do this because we don’t believe we are worthy of reaching our dreams. This ends today when you begin to embody true-self worth. This podcast will help you connect with your authentic self that in turn allows you to feel free to relentlessly be who you were always meant to be—before the world told you who you should be. 😇🙏🏻❤️ @LoveWithLiana

062 - The Purpose of Life

6/20/2023
When I asked ChatGPT what the purpose of life is, this is what AI came up with: “The purpose of life is a philosophical question that has been debated for centuries and there is no one right answer. Different people and cultures have different beliefs about the meaning and purpose of life. Some might argue that the purpose of life is to seek happiness and fulfillment, while others might believe that it is to serve a higher power or to contribute positively to society. Some might view the purpose of life as simply to survive and reproduce, while others might see it as a journey of personal growth and self-discovery. Ultimately, the purpose of life is a subjective and personal belief that varies from individual to individual.” So, clearly this is a topic that can be talked about for hours…except I talked about it for 11 minutes! I used to think that finding my life’s purpose was this grandiose thing, but as I’ve found my self-worth, I realized that it’s not that grandiose at all. In fact, it’s rather simple, and my perspective is just that. I invite you to come journey with me to Bali on my Embody True Self-Worth in Bali Retreat so that you too can let go of the need to find your purpose, but instead, be present to exactly what is. 061 - Celebrating 1 Year Free of Su!c!dal Thoughts

5/19/2023
As I celebrate one year free of su!c!dal thoughts, I acknowledge that I lived through and survived every horrible thought I’ve ever had. I’ve survived every obstacle, every difficulty, and every devastation. I’m still here, pushing on. This milestone means a lot to me. It signifies that I am stronger than I can ever imagine possible, I am capable of doing incredible things, and I am able to set my mind to anything and achieve it. This wasn’t possible without the help of my amazing husband, coaches, mentors, therapists, doctors, family, friends, and myself for pushing me forward on a path of healing that allowed me to survive yet another year. In today’s podcast episode, I share my reflections on life and how I’ve been able to go from feeling su!c!dal to now loving my life. A big part of my healing journey is finding my self-worth and acknowledging that I am enough simply because I am. That I am worthy of this life simply by being in it. That I am so so loved, just because I exist, just because I am here on this earth. That there’s nothing I need to do, nothing I need to be, in order to be worthy of anything that I desire. You TOO can learn the truth in these words. You TOO can come out of dark place and into the light. You TOO can heal. With the right amount of love and support, anything is possible. 🥲 It all starts by taking the first step. That may look different for everyone, but for me, that looked like going on a self-love retreat to Costa Rica. I am happy to announce that I am hosting my very first retreat to Bali this July 30 - August 6! 🏝️ I hope that you join me on a journey to Embody True Self-Worth in Bali! 🩵🫶🏻💜 This is a self-worth retreat where you will learn to embrace all that you are, uncover the deepest parts of your soul, and create human connection in a magical atmosphere so that you can leave the retreat embodying your true self, feeling confident & empowered, and finally able to unconditionally love yourself. 🤩 Listeners of The Love With Liana® Podcast get $300 off the total cost of the Embody True Self-Worth in Bali Retreat! 059 - Finding Your Purpose with Janell Jones

3/27/2023
I’m not sure if finding your purpose is a “Western Concept” or not, but it seems like much of the “American Way” is to go go go, do do do, and produce as much as you can allowing little time to slow down and actually see if what we’re doing is actually fulfilling. It’s almost as if Capitalism wants us to stay on the grind—away from our true life’s purpose—for our entire life so that we can keep making the rich richer all while keeping the poor poorer. Janell Jones defines one’s purpose as “not really about us…it’s really to help other people with what you’re gifted”. I think this is a beautiful definition because once we can each tap into what our unique gifts are, we can find that magnetic pull towards our greater life purpose. 058 - Finding Success Beyond Achievements with Wassim Dabboussi

2/22/2023
Wealth is traditionally defined as how much money or possessions a person has, but Wassim Dabboussi knows a different meaning of wealth: “Watching my children succeed, go through life, watching them grow…that to me is success before anything else…my true wealth is inside my own house.” — Wassim Dabboussi I absolutely love this meaning of wealth because it feels more authentic—more to the core of what it means to truly be wealthy and happy in this world. 057 - Self-Worth in a Healthy Marriage with Marisa Patel, LMFT

2/14/2023
As many of you know, I am married to the love of my life for the past four years now, and we have been together for eight incredible years. I truly don’t remember a time in my life without him at this point because he has been so important to me for such big milestones in my life. I don’t think Love With Liana® would have been energetically birthed if it wasn’t for his unconditional love and support of me and my dreams. I am not the type of person who believes that you can’t love someone else before you love yourself. I believe that loving yourself is a constant, lifelong process, so it would be unjust to say that you couldn’t love someone else before you reach unconditional self-love. But I do agree that you need to be working on yourself before you enter into your forever relationship and especially during. So how do you continue to have high self-worth in a healthy marriage? Today on The Love With Liana® Podcast, I welcome guest Marisa Patel to discuss this topic. “To nurture and to have a positive sense of self and a good self-worth does not mean that you are arrogant…to work on yourself that way and to feel good about yourself—it’s okay and it’s something that you can be proud of.” — Marisa Patel I hope you enjoy today’s episode! 🌟✨🌙 Find Marisa on Instagram @WelcomingWellness.Me. 1/26/2023
The Love With Liana® Podcast welcomes guest Shermin Kruse to talk on the subject: Leading with Empathy. Empathy is defined by “the ability to share and understand the feelings of another” and Shermin assures us this is not only innate in most people, but it can be taught at a cognitive level. There are many benefits to having more empathy in one’s life as they connect with family and friends, as well as lead in the workplace. “If you can better understand the struggles of others, you can grow in a very ethical way more rapidly than you otherwise could, and you can protect your people…You can be an empathic leader and not be perfect.” — Shermin Kruse. 055 - Becoming the Best Version of Yourself with Dr. Lisette Sanchez

1/6/2023
The Love With Liana® Podcast welcomes guest Dr. Lisette Sanchez to talk on the subject: Becoming the Best Version of Yourself. But how exactly do you do this—and when do you know when you’ve gotten there? When you acknowledge your humanness, you are able to overcome obstacles with grace more than not. We aren’t perfect, and in order to accept our imperfections, we must approach our lives with self-compassion. That is far more motivating than trying to do so with negative self-talk (and it is proven—just read any of the wisdom by Kristin Neff). We can only do our best and BE our best with the information that we have at the time. When there is unconditional love for the best version of ourselves we can be with what we’ve got, that is how we step into our most authentic selves. We are in control of who we are and we must now do the work to be as authentic as we possibly can—because the world craves that. This is scary venture for many who have lived in self-criticism for much of their life, but life on the other side is worth it. 054 - Self-Love as a LGBTQ+ Person in Today’s World with Jimmy Cabrera Jr.

12/14/2022
In the world that we live in, it is difficult enough to love yourself with all of society’s pressures to BE a certain way. Now add being LGBTQ+ on top of that and you have a whole lot more stigma and conditioning to overcome in order to fully accept yourself. I believe that today it is easier to “come out” than it was over a decade ago, but we still have a long way to go. On today’s podcast episode, I have on with me guest Jimmy Cabrera Jr. to talk about his experience being in the LGBTQ+ community and what his journey has been like to love himself. He offers us great nuggets of wisdom as we learn how to respond to our environment instead of react, learn to actually have self-like before we can have self-love, and the overall importance of accepting ourselves on our journeys. Jimmy believes that the way we find the most connection in the world is when we relentlessly live authentically. This episode is not just for those in the LGBTQ+ community; it can be enjoyed by anyone who is on their journey to love themselves. 052 - What’s on the Other Side of Emotional Pain with Chelsea Elliott

11/16/2022
When we are in the thick of trauma, abuse, neglect, or other harmful circumstances, it often feels like we will never get out of it. I know when I have underwent longterm complex trauma, it seemed like it was never ending; like a cloud hung over me for years (and sometimes it still does). What we often don’t realize until we’ve healed is that our circumstances will eventually pass—that there is a life beyond emotional pain. 051 - Living Life from Moment to Moment

11/7/2022
What comes to mind when you think of living life moment to moment? Being in the present? Living outside of anxiety and fear? To me, when I live life moment to moment, I acknowledge how I can build love for myself through presence by being aware of how my emotions can change literally from moment to moment. Emotions last approximately 90 seconds when fully felt. It’s when we attach meaning to these emotions that cause them to last longer—often feeling more painful. What inspired today’s podcast episode was a recent feeling of anxiety and overwhelm that caused me to nearly have a panic attack and cry uncontrollably just before I was set to go drive to visit a friend. Luckily, I was able to calm down enough to verbalize my feelings to my husband on the phone and later to my friend in person. Both provided me immense comfort and support. Later that night, me and my friend were walking in town and she and I spotted a Colbie Caillat concert playing in under 30 minutes. We looked at each other and we decided to go! It was the best most impromptu night ever, and I was left feeling so grateful, calm, and happy. That’s is the perfect example of how when we live life moment to moment we can see that our current states are only temporary—the good and the bad. We never know what’s truly going to happen next! I hope this episode inspires you to be more present in your daily life! 🌟✨🌙 I believe we can be more present in our daily lives when we unconditionally love and accept ourselves. That comes when we have high self-worth. How to build high self-worth? Start by attending my online experience with the Woogle Community on November 19 at 1:30PM ET! 049 - Releasing the Divine Feminine from Within

9/29/2022
If you’ve been on your spiritual journey for quite some time, you may have heard the term “Divine Feminine” which acknowledges the ethereal presence of female energy in a society that mainly favors more masculine energies. This all stems from religious and gendered constructs that date back thousands of years; how women were not valued as much as men, nor more feminine presenting men. Many cultures believe that human beings have both feminine and masculine traits within themselves—they just are active at different times; for example, the feminine energy is more gentle, free-flowing, and patient, and the masculine energy is more productive, fast-paced, and aggressive. The United States favors the masculine energies in its capitalism—but that’s for another podcast episode. 😅 On today’s episode on The Love With Liana® Podcast, I talk all about my experience with embracing my very own divine feminine energy and how that has better shaped me as a person. If you follow me on social media @LoveWithLiana, I recently revealed that I am bisexual and I believe that this has presented itself at this point in my life BECAUSE I have embraced my very own feminine energy. Recognizing this in myself has been a crazy and completely unexpected journey (though when I look back on my life, it just makes sense and isn’t that surprising after all 😅). I think this manifested at this point of my life because 💖 I’ve reconnected with and healed my inner child 💙 I’ve owned my divine feminine, sexy, grounded, and empowered energy 💜 I’ve worked to build up my self-confidence all because I finally believe I am enough and worthy …but it was always there. Trauma, old, unhealthy programming, and shame kept this side of me from showing. Yes…especially shame. 🥺 In choosing now to unapologetically, relentlessly live authentically, I am owning my bisexuality, and I couldn’t be happier! The feedback and love I’ve already received from me sharing this on social media has been so special! I am just so grateful for my journey. 🥰 I hope you find some fabulous takeaways from today’s podcast episode! 🤩 🌟✨🌙 If you would like support on your own journey to greater self-worth, connect with me @LoveWithLiana and visit my website LoveWithLiana.com.

048 - 7 Things I Learned About My Self-Worth Whilst Being Sick

8/31/2022
In case you don’t follow me on social media, I recently was sick with C🦠VID. Don’t worry—I’m significantly better now and am back to my normal life aside from some lingering sinus symptoms. When I first got that positive test result, I had so much fear of what was to come. Would I have some crazy severe reactions? Would my husband need to be hospitalized? Would my cats get it? Would I be able to take care of myself enough even if I feel so bad? I tried to remain calm. I know that this is not the same C🦠VID that it was in 2020 with much scarier symptoms. I eased my mind by reminding myself that this is out of my control and what will happen, will happen, and we will get through it. A lot of my fears also stemmed from the potential effects on my mental health. I know that earlier this year when I got my wisdom teeth removed due to an infection, the sickness that followed caused a trigger in su!c!dal thoughts. So I worried that by feeling bad physically, I would in turn feel bad about myself. Luckily this time, I’m armed with more tools and techniques to challenge any of these intrusive thoughts that I now can access with the support of 💊. It took me a while to get to this point and I’m so glad I’m finally here so that I may feel good about myself even when I don’t PHYSICALLY feel good. This has been so important, and such a testament to my self-worth journey. I celebrate myself as I continue to heal, and honor my heart with much gratitude 💜💙 On today’s podcast episode, I talk about the 7 things I learned about my self-worth whilst being sick. They don’t just apply to you getting over a sickness but to anywhere you’re at in your self-love journey. I hope you enjoy the episode! 🌟✨🌙 If you would like support on your own journey to greater self-worth, connect with me @LoveWithLiana and visit my website LoveWithLiana.com.

047 - Healing Isn’t Linear with Michele

8/1/2022
If you’re reading this, then you’ve probably been through some trauma—and we have that in common. When you really think about it, trauma is culturally, generationally, and societally passed down and often times continues on unless explicitly dealt with, so it’s very likely you’ve been through something really traumatic in your life, or something more complex and less obvious—but it’s still trauma. Trauma is defined in the dictionary as “a deeply stressing and disturbing experience”. It sends our nervous system out of whack and it often changes the course of our lives because it happened. The healing process is then complicated but some of the most vital and needed works of our lifetime. My guest and friend on today’s podcast episode talks about how the healing process isn’t linear. It’s not like there’s some magic formula to healing; there are many layers of self whom get affected by trauma and they each require their own space to heal. You’ll hear all about Michele’s healing journey and what her main takeaways are as you either embark on your own or continue forward. It is my hope that whilst on your own healing journey you find your people to support you—and that you give yourself some grace. This is an oftentimes a strenuous process as you process some difficult emotions but as you do, you get to feel tremendously better! I decided for the month of August 2022 to give back to my community by giving out 10 free coaching sessions (that are already taken 😉) in an effort to become even more accessible to those discovering themselves after trauma. It’s not too late to be a part of the action and receive unconditional support as you look to embody true self-worth. You can book a session for $19 via this unique link! 🤩 As always, I look forward to being there for you in any way that I possibly can. 046 - How to Be Yourself When the World Tells You Who You Should Be

7/15/2022
After spending nearly 2 full years staying close to home, I’ve now been going back into the real world and it feels—well—strange. Like completely different than how it used to feel back in 2019/early 2020. I’ve come to realize that this is because I’m different now than I was 2+ years ago, and though I’m going back to doing things I used to do in 2019/2020 and beyond, I am coming at them with new energy, fresh eyes, and a changed heart. My body remembers what it was like to be that person, though. I used to really emulate the person whom the world told me I should be; a person all prim and proper, muted, trying to fit in, unconfident, scared to express her opinion for fear of being judged, and more. I wasn’t ever being my authentic self—and if I was, it was in isolation with a trusted friend or my husband. Very few people met my true self back prior to 2020, and then in 2020 I begin embodying my true self-worth when I took the steps to become a certified self-worth coach and start wrapping my business in with my spiritually connected side. That much has always been me—spiritually connected—and I am so grateful I now have many ways to express this part of me and support others. Today’s podcast episode talks about my journey coming back to myself and what it’s been like grappling with the old habits resurfacing now that I’ve been integrating back into the real world. I have made a promise to myself that I will ALWAYS show up as me no matter what, and I will remove myself from situations that no longer serve me or that don’t feel safe as I express this new me—this version of myself that was dormant under the surface and who now feels so good to be free. I hope you enjoy today’s podcast episode, and the special song I included as it relates to fully embracing your self-worth and letting go of what doesn’t serve you. 045 - How Going Through Hardships Has Changed My Life

7/1/2022
With everything going on in the United States right now, I felt compelled to share this episode with you. I did record it well before the official news of the overturning of Roe v. Wade, but I believe it is currently more relevant than ever. Going through hardships is—well—hard. There's no sugar-coating that. Some of the most difficult times in my life were during a big life transition, in dealing with grief, suffering from an injury, or recognizing my own upbringing wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. We all develop our life's programming from 0-6 and we may not realize we are living under these programs until about 25 when our prefrontal cortex fully develops and we gain deductive reasoning. That is about when we gain new perspective on our lives and we then determine what we want out of it going forward in the rest of our adulthood. If we go through a particularly traumatizing event earlier in our lives than that, we may begin our healing journey earlier. Nevertheless, we must do our best to live as healthy adults, whatever that looks like for each individual. I reference my healing journey in the metaphor of me creating my new Mala beads. Malas are quite difficult to make but that is the point of them; with each knot of the Mala, we unknot a part of ourselves. So with each hardship, we unlock a new part of ourselves we didn't know was there, and we grow even brighter. You are worthy of living a bright life 🤩 Much love to you! 🌟✨💫 If you would like support on your own journey to greater self-worth, connect with me @LoveWithLiana and visit my website LoveWithLiana.com.

044 - Loving Yourself As Your Body Changes with Nikki Starkiller - Part 2

6/21/2022
In a society that constantly bombards us with idolized images and ways to change ourselves, all in an effort to get us to confirm to a certain standard, it is hard to love our authentic self. There’s no group of people who knows this more to be true than those of the LGBTQ+ community. My dear friend, Nikki Starkiller joins us on The Love With Liana™ Podcast for part 2 of our fantastic discussion airing on her 40th birthday as she is recovering from bottom surgery. Nikki is a transgender female who has suffered from gender dysphoria for her entire life, but for her first 36 years, she suppressed these feeling. Nikki has been on a journey to further eliminate her gender dysphoria and deepen her self-love for the last 4 years and now, today the time this episode releases, she celebrates her 40th birthday. She shares openly how she has learned to accept the life she has been given and how she makes the choice everyday to live her life the way she wants to live it. I am inspired by Nikki’s honesty, openness, and overall story for many reasons, but the biggest reason is that she has learned to love herself throughout her transformation into being her authentic self. That is a mirror of my personal journey of which I share with you all on a daily basis in my social media content and in my own reflections. Her journey and friendship has given me hope to be able to love myself, but also for my clients to love themselves as well. I am grateful that we exist together during a time where many of us are called to love our authentic selves, and this means as that authentic self changes and shifts and grows. I hope you enjoy part 2 of our conversation today and receive many new insights you can take with you as you learn to love yourself even more. At the end of this episode, Nikki reminds us to donate to our local community to support the lives of LGBTQ+ individuals. I am also offering a 19% discount on my services (https://lovewithliana.com/booking) for those in the LGBTQ+ community as a way to personally show my support.
