Pastor Gary and Elder JC once again show believers what is unfolding right before their eyes that is a disgrace to God from Pride parades to synthetic chicken. We must renew our minds as in Romans 12:2, but also be prepared to go back to God and His ways. Somehow we are under the spell of the necromancer, spiritualists taking us away from caring and nurturing our children to now giving in allowing them to determine their gender. Trust and know that we are responsible for the upbringing of our children, especially in the admonition of the Lord God Almighty. Once again, man is showing how he is not too resourceful as it pertains to this world. God’s expectation is for us to live His word in the Bible, not our own. From taking the Bible out of their school district, protestors rallied together and had the Davis County School District (Salt Lake City, Utah) reverse their decision. What a week it has been from the extreme violence perpetuated during Juneteenth (June 19), which was originally known for the celebration and liberation of blacks in Texas to brown smoke bellowing from the so called wild fires from Canada to the celebrations of Pride month. The individual Psalms were written from the time period from Moses during the Exodus to the restoration of Babylonia. Such a compilation of music, songs, poetry and prose provides a wide range of hymns as well as praise and worship to our Creator. The Psalms is seen as a compilation of five sections ~ Book I (Psalm 1–41); Book II Psalms 42-72; Book III (Psalms 73-89); Book IV (Psalms 90-106); and Book IV (psalms 107-150). Pastor Gary Elder JC Montgomery described the authorship and its use in hymns. The most important application is its referenced to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Half of the Old Testament references the Messiah, his teachings (parables), rejection, priesthood, betrayal, suffering, and ultimately His triumphant resurrection. The Book of Psalms reflect our worship to the Creator which ministers to the soul of man and to the heart of God. It is similar to the five books of Moses in that it is also divided into five sections. Psalms cover everything from praising God as King (Hallel Psalms) to penitence. Once again, our world is turned upside down. The Almighty is looking for believers who follow the Ten Commandments unconditionally. Last week’s show reviewed the 4th (“Keep the Sabbath Holy”) and 5th (Honor Thy Father and Mother) Commandments. This show reviews the 6th, 7th, and 8th Commandments. Exodus 20:13; Thou shalt not kill. The 6th commandment forbids the premeditated killing of another human being. The 7th Thou shalt not commit adultery (Exodus 20:14). Adultery destroys and violates the rights of marriage as the Almighty sees fit. The 8th Commandment “Thou shall not steal” (Exodus 20:15). We are just as guilty of stealing someone’s property as cheating on taxes and even further when nations or governments forbid ownership of property. Follow the Almighty as He is the only Lawgiver. Some even image the law (10 Commandments) is no longer valid. A summary of the 4th and 5th commandment –Remember the Sabbath and Honor Thy Father and Mother sets the backdrop for our modern stage that is currently not pleasing to God. Pastor Gary and Elder JC Montgomery wants you to recognize the sovereignty of God. The Ten Commandments are an absolute—not maybe, not think about it, and certainly to be obeyed. These are principles which are all encompassing with no exception. Yeshua also references their timeless application in Matthew 5:21-37. Remember the name Elohim means the family of God, a priceless name to whom the Almighty proclaims victory and triumph for His people. The number 10 appears several times in the Old Testament. It has special meaning as it corresponds to the number of plagues placed on the Egyptians, in Exodus 7 – 12; the generations from Adam to Noah pre flood; and my favorite “God said” is found 10 times in Genesis 1 in the Creation account. Many of us today have not realized that Blacks contribution to the Bible extends from the very beginning of history. Names like Ebed Melech, Simon of Cyrene, and the Ethiopian Eunuch.
