I met Stuart and Anita during a cycle tour of mine back in September 2020 and was lucky enough to stay with them. At the time they had many stories to tell of their journeys together and I knew I had to get them on the podcast. We relive some of those moments with some incredible stories of the road. Beyond this we talk about their next plans and how they hope to take their kids with them on the family's next cycle tour!

In this episode I chat to Eoghan (Owen) about his cycling journey from England to Morocco. Taking a window of opportunity as England came out of lockdown, without a place to live or a plan what to do next he took to the roads in search of Morocco. In this episode I had the opportunity to chat with Kiran who cycled from Vietnam to Amsterdam with his partner Frouke! Together we chat about some stories from the trip bringing with them an insight into day to day life on a cycle tour alongside subtle life lessons from the road. Once again I get to hear examples of unbelievable kindness on the road. Kiran and Frouke are raising money for Burmese refugees living in a dormitory in Mae la Oon refugee camp Thailand under really bad circumstances. In this episode I got the chance to chat to Ollie about his endurance challenges! I was captivated by his stories allowing us to stretch out to two episodes for the podcast. In this episode we chat to him about trying something a little different. With a cycling background Ollie decided to attempt a race in an alien world to him, racing 160km across ice and snow with temperatures never reaching above -30. In this episode I talk to Anthony about Tindersurfing. Having created the idea some years back he test ran his new concept on a backpacking trip across Europe. Relying on Tinder alone he made his way across countries, encountered wonderful people on the way and was broadcasted to the world on his return! In this episode I get the chance to talk with my uncle Matt Garman about his Atlantic row as part of the Talisker Whisky challenge. A row that will bring his team of 4 dads up against brutal 2 hours on, 2 hours off shift patterns, 40+ foot waves, freezing conditions and cramped conditions over their 3000 mile row! During September I saw a video of Chris finishing his barefoot walk in Edinburgh with Hasti running into his arms.
