11: The Moose will Never Die (10.11)

WATFORD 2-2 ARSENAL: It was fun, it was a lot better and we could have even won it. Jon, Jason and Mike talk through Quique Sanchez Flores' first game back as Watford Head Coach, and it gave us plenty to talk about. Plus Jon is joined (prematch) by DCW and Colin to reflect on Javi leaving a week on and the 20 leaked badges for possible new Watford badges. COME ON YOU ORNS

EMERGENCY POD We weren't going to do a podcast this week. We were going to rest and let our brains think about something other than Watford - it didn't last long. Late on Saturday afternoon, you probably know this, Watford announced that Javi Gracia was leaving the club as head coach. 31 minutes later, we found that he was going to be replaced by an old friend, Enrique 'Quique' Sanchez Flores. That gave us plenty to talk about!

9: Off the Mark... Finally (10.9)

NEWCASTLE 1-1 WATFORD This week Jon is on the phone to Colin, who made the trip up to Tyneside and up the 14 flights of stairs to the away section at St James Park. Colin gives his views on the teams performance as well as the individuals who got the Hornets their first Premier League point of the season. COME ON YOU ORNS!!

8: Pick Me and the blame game (10.8)

WATFORD 3-0 COVENTRY The first win for the Golden Boys this season and oh how good it felt. Jon, Jason and Mike gathered to discuss it, the players who shone, and played for a starting place in the first team, and those who got some minutes under their belts. They also discuss the blame game and who should we point the finger at for the poor start to the season and the poor end to last season as well. COME ON YOU ORNS!!

6: Being nice to each other (10.6)

EVERTON 1-0 WATFORD Goodison Park has never been a happy hunting ground for Watford, and this week wasn't again!! In this pod, Jon, Mike and Jason gathered to talk about the issues in the Rookery during the Brighton game, talk to Matt Rowson about the disappointing, yet better performance, and then look into the rest of this season. Of course we hear from Arlo, but there is also the return of GOING FOR GOLDEN!!!!

5: Bowled over by Brighton (10.5)

WATFORD 0-3 BRIGHTON Not the start of the season we dreamt of, especially after an exciting week in the transfer window. Jon, Jason and Colin start the podcast to discuss the recent transfer business, Jon shares what his Thursday was like then Jon and Jason try to figure out where the Brighton game went wrong. Finally, Mike pops by to discuss the clubs scheme to Keep the Vic Full and head to the Z-Cars Derby and seeing the snake again.

4: Any Other Business - Preseason (10.4)

PRESEASON PODCAST 4 In the fourth, but maybe not final, FTRE preseason podcast, Jon, MIke, Jason, Jordi and DCW discuss the fixture list, the signing and the Club badge competition that has been running for the last few weeks.

3: The Best Top Division Watford XI (10.3)

The Gavin Mahon Imposition (Team A) v AFC Unsurpassable (Team B) In our third preseason podcast, it gets competitive, very competitive. Mike and Jason take on DCW and Jordi to pick the best Watford XI of only players that have played for the Hornets in the Top Division of English football. There are rules: Each mean must pick at least... 3 Players from 82-88 2 Players from 99-00 2 Players from 06-07 3 Players from 15-Now Teams take it in turns to pick, under the ABBA rule.

2: Ann Swanson (10.2)

If you became a Watford fan in the 1980s you probably know the name Ann Swanson. She is the first lady of Watford and the lady who made Graham Taylors vision of a family club a reality. A special thanks to Derrick Williams at the Watford FC Trust for putting us in touch with Ann and we hope you enjoy hearing from Ann again.

1: VAR You Sure? (10.1)

PRESEASON TRAINING 1 Yeah, we know you're worried. VAR and the new rules seem to be getting everyone down about the new season and how even more referees could influence the outcome of Watford games next season. Jon, Mike, Jason Jordi and DCW gathered to help make sense of what is to come with the new football rule book and a couple of people in a room watching a TV.

58: The Cup Final (9.57)

WATFORD 0-6 MANCHESTER CITY A scoreline we've seen before, but not one we wanted to see on only the clubs second trip to the FA Cup Final. This podcast is the story of the day for the FTRE team. You might not listen to it straight away, but these podcasts are our story of life as a Watford fan. And yesterday was a great day to be a Watford fan - minus the result!

57: The day before, with Lloyd and Jay (9.56)

WHITE TEAM 6 - 5 BLACK TEAM Watford sponsor MoPlay offered us the chance to play in a game on the Vicarage Road turf. Also playing were Watford footballer legends Tommy Smith, Tommy Mooney, Micah Hyde, Alec Chamberlain and the boys were able to catch up with Lloyd Doyley and Jay Demerit. COME ON YOU ORNS!

54: 2018-19 Top 10 of the Season (9.53)

WATFORD 1-4 WEST HAM Not the result you want, but let's hope it's a bad dress rehearsal before opening night. Jon, Colin, DCW and Mike gather to talk through (but not for long) the West Ham lose, and then look back on this season by counting down the FTRE Top 10 of the Season. COME ON YOU ORNS!

53: Not the finishing article (9.52)

CHELSEA 3-0 WATFORD Colin and Jon gather to discuss a loss against a top 6 side that could have been very different - something that we've said a few times this season. With the return of Deeney and Chalobah to the starting line up, how did the hornets fair and who is showing their stripes ready for the Cup Final?

52: So Long to 7th (9.51)

WATFORD 1-2 WOLVES Or is that 2-1 to Watford in terms of results this season. In an indifferent game of football, Watford didn't show their, what we've come accustomed to, fight till the death. Jon, Jordi and Mike talk through the game and the subs that seemed to cause a step back. They also discuss the impact of Troy's red card, Micheal Parkin-son picks his favourite item in the Hornet Shop plus Colin joins the guys to discuss the player of the season. COME ON YOU ORNS!

51: Strangely Satisfying (9.50)

WATFORD 1-1 SOUTHAMPTON With a Southampton goal after 7 seconds, tonight's game was incredibly frustrating and only saved with about 7 seconds to go. Jon, Jason and Mike met up for a short review of the game but aren't as down as you might think. COME ON YOU ORNS!

50: 3 points in 2nd gear (9.49)

HUDDERSFIELD 1-2 WATFORD They say it's cold up north, but it was a sunny sunny day on Saturday. Jon, Mike, Jason and Kieran headed up to the John Smiths stadium - which doesn't sell John Smiths - for the sort of game you have to win, even if it isn't done in the way you wish. The boys talk about the change in walk on music, plus John Motson, yes the John Motson, sets the boys an in car challenge.
