Clippers lead after the first quarter 23-18 but then were outscored in the 2nd qtr 36-18 and it was all Dallas from there. Kawhi Leonard was a liability and is still not up to game speed scoring 9 Paul George was also very off finishing with 7. Kawhi Leonard returned for the Clippers and he looked rusty having not played since March 31st. He scored 15 but only 4 in the first half and was 0-5 from beyond the arc. Ivica Zubac got into foul trouble early and only scored 2 in the first half finishing with 13. Paul George and James Harden lead the Clippers with 22 a piece but Harden was 2-10 from 3. Clippers take game 1, 109-97. LA lead the Mavericks by as many 29 after a big first half which included 20 for James Harden. The Clippers also did a good job on defense holding Dallas to just 8 points in the 2nd qtr. James Harden would finish with 28 including 6 3's. 4 of the Clippers regular starting 5 had the night off as they have clinched the Pacific and will more than likely be facing the Dallas Mavericks in the first round.
