September 26, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 29 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Thursday night game between the Arizona Cardinals and the Seattle Seahawks and how the new dynamic kickoff rules played into the ending of it. We discuss whether we like the new kickoff rules so far this season. Alex and I move on to discuss the Steelers' injury report heading into Friday. We discuss a few very curious answers that Tomlin gave to questions on Tuesday. Should he really be blaming the lack of a consistent running game on the team's defense? We talk that answer out and go over what Tomlin had to say about the overall direction of the Steelers' offense through three games. September 22, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 27 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right to giving our overarching thoughts on the Pittsburgh Steelers Week 3 Sunday road win against the New England Patriots and how any win in the NFL is a huge accomplishment. As part of our Monday Housekeeping segment, which is brought to you by Touring Plans, Alex and I go over the Steelers' Week 3 Sunday inactive list, the practice squad elevation made on Saturday, and the players who sustained injuries in the 21-14 win against the Patriots. As usual, Alex and I then recap the Steelers' Week 3 win against the Patriots. We start on the offensive side of the football and talk about several individual player performances, the ineptitude on that side of the football after their great two touchdown drives to end the first two possessions. We discuss how the running game went downhill after the first two drives and how QB Aaron Rodgers continues to have a short passing game. We also discuss the three touchdowns the Steelers offense scored in Sunday’s win. As part of our recap of the Steelers' offense from their Week 3 game, Alex and I mix in several key stats and snap counts concerning that unit. We talk about the heavy usage of RB Jaylen Warren on Sunday and how he now leads the team in receiving yardage after three games. We also discuss the large amount of YAC that there was once again in the passing game on Sunday. The Steelers' defense recorded five takeaways and four sacks on Sunday and it's a good thing that they did. Even so, the Patriots' offense was still able to move the football on Sunday against the defense and mainly through their tight ends and the use of the legs on QB Drake Maye. We discuss how the defense wasnt great on third and fourth downs most of the game. We make sure to highlight some great individual defensive players and their respective performances from Sunday's game. The Steelers' special teams units looked much better on Sunday against the Patriots, so we make sure to recap that phase of the Week 3 game as well. September 17, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 25 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the recent transactions that the Pittsburgh Steelers have made that included the signing of veteran ILB Ja'Whaun Bentley to the practice squad. We discuss what Bentley brings to defense and how he could see playing time right away if he is elevated from the practice squad on Saturday. The Steelers' injury report has once again grown some heading into Week 3, so Alex and I go over which players are already out for the Sunday road game against the New England Patriots and which players are currently deemed as being questionable for that contest. The Steelers made several transactions official on Wednesday morning, so Alex and I discuss those moves right after they were announced during our show. We discuss one of those moves being OLB/DL DeMarvin Leal being signed to the 53-man roster from the practice squad and another being DL Isaiahh Loudermilk being placed on the Reserve/Injured list with an ankle issue.
