Aston Villa continued their fine form with a 2-1 win over Manchester United, Morgan Rogers scoring twice to move Unai Emery’s side level on points with leaders Arsenal. Arsenal returned to the top with a hard-fought 1-0 win at Everton thanks to Viktor Gyökeres’ penalty, while Manchester City beat West Ham 3-0 as Erling Haaland netted twice. Liverpool claimed a 2-1 victory at Tottenham despite Alexander Isak going off injured, and Leeds strengthened their survival hopes with a 4-1 win over Crystal Palace.
