Metabolism has always been looked at as some big scary monster that people are unsure of what it is, how it works and how it can be changed. A lot of us think, and I used to as well when I was younger, that the way we are born and our genetics, determines our metabolism for life. Although there is some truth in this, that is not the core of it all. We can alter and manipulate our metabolism, our bodies are VERY smart believe it or not, and they will adapt to the situation given to them.
