In Part 2 of our Peter DeFur interview, he dives further into his life story. In contrast to Part 1 where he focuses on his childhood, Peter now emphasizes his decisions in finding an education and eventually choosing a career.

Today I am joined by my grandfather, a now-retired marine biologist who has a strong fascination with the world around him. In this episode, he begins to tell the story of his childhood growing up on a farm in Connecticut with his three siblings. As he explains in detail the activities and events that he would enjoy and attend as a kid, it becomes clear how different life was sixty years ago.

Today I am joined by Ethan Weir, a Summit High School student who has been a member of the Summit Emergency Medical Services (EMS) program for a little over a year. In this episode, he talks about what the EMS squad does for Summit, what it takes to become a member, and why high school students should consider joining the program.

In this episode of SummitCast, Charlie and I are joined by Lauren Wells, a well established teacher from Summit High School. Not only has she taught multiple subjects at SHS like Sociology and AP Gov, but she has also involved herself in our community in other ways, such as by establishing the Peer Leadership Program. Today she talks about her experiences at Summit High School, as well as the importance of teaching students not only academic material, but life lessons as well.

Dan is an extremely accomplished athlete, competing on a national level annually. In this episode, he gives us a look into what his career has been like so far, and what his plans may be for the future.
