Ep 101: A Home Invaded
2/27/2023
In March of 1992, a vicious murder in one of Fort Worth’s richest neighborhoods shook the community. Businessman and former banker Jack Koslow, along with his wife, former banker and patron of the arts Caren Koslow, were viciously attacked in their home in the middle of the night. Caren died from her injuries, but thankfully Jack survived. However, strange details at the crime scene led detectives to become suspicious of the lone survivor.

With three dead and a community held in fear, a helpful tip leads to a mountain of evidence against the killers.

Ep 99: Revenge in Kaufman County, Part I
10/30/2022
In 2013, Kaufman County Assistant District Attorney Mark Hasse was murdered in what appeared to be a retaliatory act related to his caseload. Local, state, and federal agencies joined together to find the people responsible. However, in his decades-long career, ADA Hasse had prosecuted hundreds of cases and locating the one connected to his murder would prove difficult.

7/27/2022
Welcome to the second part of this series about the Murray-O’Hair family. It wasn’t until a reporter began asking questions that the story finally got the attention it deserved. In this episode we’ll discuss how the case was unraveled, and the clues involve a hundred pounds of gold coins, a perfect diamond, unlikely heroes, and finally, the discovery of the truth after a 5-year hunt for answers.

Ep 96: The Disappearance of the Murray-O'Hair Family, Part I
7/15/2022
From the 1960s and into the 1990s, Madalyn Murray O’Hair was the voice and face of atheism in the United States. Madalyn’s closest partners in her business dealings, legal battles, and life were her youngest son Jon Garth Murray and her granddaughter Robin Murray. When the three went missing in September of 1995 under suspicious circumstances, local law enforcement, family, even friends were slow to respond. This is part one of a two-part story describing what happened when “the most hated woman in America” and her family disappeared.

Ep 94: Murder by Omission, Part I
3/4/2022
This two-part series is one of the most scandalous and high-profile cases in Texas true crime history: the mysterious death of world-ranked equestrian and socialite Joan Robinson Hill. She was the daughter of wealthy oilman Ash Robinson and lived in the illustrious neighborhood of River Oaks in Houston. The chain of events leading up to and after Joan’s death is incredibly bizarre and would prompt one of the most unpredictable medical investigations and legal proceedings ever before seen in the Lone Star State.

Ep 91: The Queen of Tejano, Part I
10/1/2021
Selena Quintanilla-Perez first stepped into the tejano music scene in south Texas in the early 1980s. A Mexican-American from Texas whose first language was English, Selena’s dedication, hard work, and incredible family bond helped her breakthrough national, cultural, and language barriers in a music genre that was previously always dominated by men. She was the total package: stunningly beautiful, with a powerful singing voice, incredible dance moves, and a sense of humor that disarmed everyone. She was proving herself to be a capable businesswoman and entrepreneur making a name for herself in the fashion industry. And she did all of it before she was senselessly gunned down only two weeks before her 24th birthday. Join us as we discuss the music, fashion, and cultural icon that was Selena in this special two-part series.

The Huntsville Prison Siege of 1974 was one of the longest hostage-taking events in U.S. history.
