On March 22, 1998, Stacey Colbert, an Ohio State University graduate, went missing from her apartment in Columbus, Ohio. There were no leads in the case till in 2004 skeletal remains were found in a different Ohio county. After 25 years there still has been no leads in the case. Host, Bill Swafford, will look into the Stacey Colbert case and talk to those close to Stacey Colbert. In 2004 Professor Douglas Shaw was found shot dead in his home. Douglas' son was the one who found the body. Doug's wife was out of town. There has been no arrest in the unsolved homicide investigation of Douglas Shaw from Kent, Ohio. 2019 Troy Lamont Stevens was shot down in the city of Akron, Ohio. Troy's body was found on the sidewalk in front of a house. No arrests have been made. In 1990 16-year-old Lisa Pruett had sneaked out of her parent's house to go see her boyfriend. Lisa never made it to her boyfriend Dan's house. Lisa's body was found at Dan's neighbor's house in the backyard. A teenage boy by the name of Kevin Young was arrested for the murder, however, was found not guilty by a jury. This unsolved homicide case happened in Shaker Heights, Ohio near Cleveland. Sammie Justice is an unsolved homicide case from 1998. Sammie was found in his home he had suffered from several stab wounds. Carla Bailey is a homicide case from 2000. In 1997 someone cut the phone lines to Dennis Young's home in Greenville, Ohio. The killer or killers had gone inside of the Greenville Ohio home to murder Dennis Young and Kim Stephan. The Greenville has only ever name one suspect, Robert Stephan, Kim's husband. No arrest has ever been made in this unsolved homicide case out of Greenville. In February of 1998 the body of John Campbell would be found in the Mad River in Springfield Ohio. Months later another body would be found and identified as Raymond Kreitzer. Law enforcement would discover that John and Raymond had somethings in common. The Springfield Police Department don't know if their murders are tied together. In 1998 a Columbus woman by the name of Stacey Colbert. Stacey Colbert was an Ohio State University graduate and worked as a marketing assistant. The Columbus Police Department would treat Stacey's case as a missing person's case for six years. In 2004, human remains would be found in Delaware County and would be identified as Stacey Colbert from Columbus. There is no known cause of death or homicide date. In 1982 17-year-old Sharon Ward was left for dead in a field outside of Oregon Ohio. Oregon is a suburb of Toledo. Sharon was hit in the head and her wrists had been slashed. Sharon Ward's body was left on Jacob Road. The Oregon Police Department did give the public a name of their person of interest. This unsolved murder is over 40 years old. March 10, 2012, Dawann Harris' mother got a phone call from an unknown caller. That call lead to Dawann's body being found by his mom and sister. 22-year-old Dawann Harris was shot in the head while sitting on a couch. Cold Ohio is focused on Cleveland Ohio with the unsolved murder cases of Kyle Davis and Stephen Halton Jr. Kyle Davis was gunned down and left dead in the snow. Kyle's car was found at a different area in Cleveland. Kyle's case is out of the Maple Heights area of Cleveland Stephen Halton Jr was on his way to work when he was shot at an RTA bus stop. Stephen worked at a hospital and was on call the morning of his murder. Stephen's murder happened on the north end of town. In March of 2017 two human legs were found in the trash at a garbage sorting plant in Columbus Ohio. DNA proved that the legs belonged to 21-year-old Candice Taylor from Columbus.
