When 36-year-old Gayle McCaffrey went missing from West Ashley, South Carolina in 2012, her family knew she wouldn't have willingly abandoned her children. Her husband Bob's description of an argument beteen the couple that night also concerned them and investigators. While Bob McCaffrey served time for obstruction of justice charges related to his wife's disappearance, he never stood trial for murder as her body was never found. Now, he's been arrested for a 1990 cold case in New Jersey, where a 27-year-old woman went missing from her home and was later found murdered. Their six-month-old infant son was unharmed in a nearby bedroom. Police quickly announced they didn't think the murder was a random attack, and Raven Abaroa's misdeeds as an employee and a husband would lead to his arrest for murder five years later. In the summer of 2004, an inmate in prison for armed robbery and kidnapping escaped from the Brown Creek Correctional Institution in Anson County. Authorities searched the surrounding area and Charlotte, but there was no sign of "The Roofman" for months, until a masked robber attempted to rob employees at a Toys R Us on Independence Boulevard in Charlotte. There, police discovered Jeffrey Manchester had been living undetected among the community for more than six months. Mia Roberson joins Renee for this episode and they also discuss the film adaptation of Manchester's story starring Channing Tatum.
