I've been wandering between many techno subgenres for the last 2 years, playing and producing different stuff, but inside I was still unsure. But since the beginning of 2024 I started to get more and more clear view, the production started to go more into one direction and that eventually defined my new sound. I would like to introduce You something I want to call TECHNO 2.0. A mix of modern hard-techno with elements of Acid, Hardstyle, Hardcore and Psy-Trance. The energy and diversity is what I like most about it. I believe you will feel the same way. I've been working on the third track Ambitions for the last few months and I'm finally happy with it, so I hope you'll like it too. Danny Bright is back together with another tribute episode of Hype techno podcast. It is end of February and there was so much going on with the HYPE Techno this month. The first HYPE Techno Event after the break is published and it will take place 31.March 2023 in the BrickHouse Industrial Venue in Ostrava city. We are preparing some interesting decorations, strong sound system and dark red-lights setup. We want to create true underground atmosphere there and we hope to do well. We have invited as headliner Marika Rossa from Ukraine which is very popular here and this episode of hype techno podcast supposed to be her tribute. Therefore this episode is made only from tracks she has created and few her remixes. There are remixes from Alberto Ruiz, Ken Ishi, Gabros or Aria Des, otherwise this is only pure Marika`s production. Of course, I couldn’t miss my two typical podcast add-ons, the chapters Czech Techno Showcase and The Piece of History. This time I have pleasure to play for You unreleased bomb from Slovakian producer Signate called Uruk Hai! As a piece of history, I have selected my favourite remix of AME - REJ, the top classic minimal tune I was used to play a lot. This episode is very energetic and I am sure you will enjoy it, whenever you will work, do some sports or just sit in the bus.

It is January, so it is time of New Year resolutions, fresh starts, fresh energy, new goals, new ideas, and new beginnings. I am personally still working on my New Year resolution, slowly filling in all the areas I would like to improve on all aspects of my life and then I am gonna turn it into daily, weekly and monthly habits. It is not an easy exercise to be honest, but smart people say it works, so lets see. Also, I have several exciting objectives with HYPE Techno brand and You will learn about it very very soon. But now, to the music! In compare with last month and fast hypnotic raw techno, this month I made rather selection of quite melodic, but still very strong and heavy tracks. Within Czech Techno showcase we have another friend of mine, Mr. Ian Kita and his unreleased track Spooky Lights. This Month I ve selected for you balanced mix of peak time driving techno with nice melodies or baselines which were on HYPE during the year. Expect sound of UMEK, Mario Ochoa, Maddix, AKKI, Joyhauser, HI-LO, Timmo, Lilly Palmer, Weska, Popof, and Cosmic Boys. Into Czech Techno Showcase I have selected two tracks from my friend and great Czech Producer DJ Subgate. As the last track, into the Piece of History chapter, I have added my favourite 2010 producer, Jerome Isma AE together with Tomcraft and their track Trouble in the Red-light District. When hearing this name now after being on that street, I started to wonder if guys really had some troubles in the Red-light District or the name of the song is just coincidence, what do you think? It is October and I am back with another tribute episode of HYPE Techno Podcast. This time, I wanted to make a tribute to Reinier Zonneveld. I have invited Reinier to my Hype Techno Event back in 2018 in Brno, Czech Republic, I had a pleasure to have few drinks with him, do some good chatting, little party, and I have to say, that he is really amazing, smart, dexterous, and open minded guy. But honestly, since then, he has done truly unbelievable progress. Starting with a lot of great work on his label Filth on Acid where he progressed in the same time as a producer and released tracks even with big non-techno names such as Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Angerfist, Tinlicker, or Oliver Heldens in his techno alter ego HI-Lo. He also remixed tracks for Stephan Bodzin, CamelPhat, Carl Cox, Sharam and many others. We see the impact of his continuous work and actions primarily on his DJ progress. It is awesome how quickly he became strong part of the top Techno DJ crew and how often we see him on all great festivals. His sets are inspirational for me and I always enjoy his live performances and injections of crazy old melodies or vocals to his techno sets. What I personally mainly value is that his progress is not artificial, or created by others for their business benefit as was done for some other current techno DJs on HYPE. From my humble opinion, he fully deserves where he is since the amount of effort, musician professionalism, analysis, data insight, PR, product management, marketing and effectivity he has done with his team is tremendous! Therefore let me make a tribute to Reinier Zonneveld by this episode of Hype Techno Podcast, where I have selected my favourite tracks from his current portfolio, and mixed them with focus, passion and joy. As you know, since last episode I am adding to each episode 2 things. First, the piece of history, one of old tracks what influenced me during my dj career. Second, I want to start helping producers in my country. I think the Czech Republic does have great DJs and producers, but unfortunately, non of them has yet penetrated the international DJ scene too deep. Hello my friends, I am back with another HYPE Techno Podcast, but this time, it will be special. Very special. Because it wont be a techno. Do you remember me telling you that I was playing on Sardinia and Egypt last year? Those were summer beach clubs, and of course, my usual techno didnt fit there, so I had to be softer. I played tech house, progressive house and also tracks found on Beatport in category melodic house and techno. And actually, I started to love some tracks so much, that I ve decided to start to playing progressive house again. As some of you know, I played progressive when I started to DJ, approximately since 2008 to 2011. I loved it and I still do! Thats why I want to introduce you my new DJ alter ego, BRIGHT. BRIGHT will be melodic, BRIGHT will be slower, BRIGHT will be emotions, and primarily the house music. Danny Bright will stay Techno, pure energy, the peak time pump. This is the first set of my alter ego BRIGHT. I selected for this special set the best tracks I heard in 2021, and couple from 2022. I know, its been a while since I have recorded some music for You. 4 years actually. I am so sorry. Really. During last 4 years I was pursuing some other goals, and since I was so busy with the work, I have not even realized how much I miss being DJ, playing music, recording sets and touring on the gigs. Thanks god for several small gigs I managed accidentally during my vacation last summer with locals in Sardinia and Egypt. These few opened my eyes again, and I realised how much I miss this. I would never though how easy it is to forget your own identity, to be pulled away from something you are, and something you truly love. Nevertheless, now I am back, HYPE is back, and I am so excited to share with you my fresh new set. I enjoyed playing these driving techno mega bombs so much, that I almost forgot I am recording it at home.
