Today, we observe the Lord’s Supper. One of the major themes of the Lord’s Supper is remembering. Remembering the past impacts the present. When you forget something significant you begin living for the insignificant. This is why Jesus wants us to think about Him and to remember Him. When we remember His love for us it impacts our love for Him and ultimately our love for others. Remembering the past impacts the present.

Our values are foundational. They help direct our missional priorities. The five priorities, or building blocks, that God has led us as Hope Presbyterian to focus on during the 2024 to 2028 years.

Our family likeness is Christlikeness. We are humble conduits of His powerful faith-enabled grace. Spiritual disciplines hone our sensitivity to the Holy Spirit’s guidance and power through transformational time in prayer, Bible reading and study and worship. We step out in our grace-enabled gifts, both individually and corporately. In this way, God is crafting us as living stones into a temple for the Holy Spirit. We are active, flexible, agile, and have a boldness and courage that comes from being steadfastly anchored to the cornerstone, Jesus Christ.

We welcome and serve all people, both inside and outside the church. We seek to creatively meet their needs in genuine love, hungering to see them come into a personal relationship with Jesus. We choose to be resilient champions of hope and freedom in our broken world, stewarding all that God has entrusted to us for future generations.
