Born into a difficult life on Oahu, Hawaii’s West Side, Charles found success earning a black belt in karate, an Eagle Scout award from the Boy Scouts and as a Riflery Instructor in the Marines. Re-entering civilian life, Charles found himself in a difficult situation with a family construction business and chose to make ends meet selling narcotics that cost him eight years of his life in federal prison as well as his family and everything he owned.
