It feels like there’s been an increase in the number of knife related crimes in our community lately. Thirty four. At the time of publication that’s how many women in Australia have lost their lives to gendered violence in 2024. At the end of April hundreds of thousands of women and their allies marched in rallies across the country calling for an end to the violence.
