🌏Dr. Meena Said discusses the work of her nonprofit, Wellness Worldwide, this week. It provides international tertiary care coordination for terminally ill Afghan children, forgotten by the world along with their nation. "Coordinate" because these kids cannot be treated IN Afghanistan as there is no pediatric cancer center there. Find out why on this episode. ⚕️Not only does @wellnessworldwide_ serve dying children, but its field clinic serves a population of 35,000 internally displaced Afghans, mostly women and children, with primary care and surgical follow up, labs and medication.
