Another classic from 2019! Joanne was so interesting to talk to and spend time with. Alas, her podcast hasn't had new episodes in a while, but you can still hear them, and probably more from Joanne, if you are searching online. Is this love? I'm not sure, you haven't asked me my last name yet! (Note: At the time of this episode's release, I think Lord Mr. Bruce was recovering from surgery, which explains the"Get Well " wishes.) ____________________________________________________________________________ What a great time I had speaking with Joanne Wilson! My first supermodel interview! We should call this the start of the "Down Under Trilogy", given the guests in the next 2 Saturday episodes are also from Australia, and New Zealand. From 2019: it's the "origin story"of our own Lord Mr. Bruce! I apologize for the audio quality of the interview, which apparently degraded to sounding like a bad Cher song. (It was from 2019, maybe it had the COVID virus?) Anyway, here's where you get the story of how Bruce came to be such an important part of the show! A little background on this week's episode. I had initially been scheduled to interview just Dave Roberts for this show, because Amanda Greenwood wasn't sure if she could make it. Dave and Amanda just got the ball rolling before we even started recording. This was actual conversation: Dave: Jim, I have to warn you, I'm not wearing any trousers. Amanda: Me, neither. In fact, I'm wearing my husband's underwear. Dave: So am I! Now, I don't know about you, but when you start off like that, I know it's going to be a fun interview. I found it interesting how they found lives and careers for themselves in South Korea. As for me, I get a little nervous if I have to drive into the next county.
