She was one of the breakout stars of the country boom period in the late 80s, scoring numerous hits and awards. And, you better believe she has stories to share. She was married to country legend Keith Whitley up until his tragic death and later married and divorced country star Sammy Kershaw. Lorrie was also managed by Shady Lady Susan Nadler who likes to credit Lorrie for encouraging her love of country music and playing pranks on people.
