Tony, his brother Joey and his Dad help him wrap up the entire season. Given all the information that Metheny has shared it is quite a task. Joseph Roy Metheny was found dead in his cell on August 5, 2017, and at that point his wish for death came true. Joe Metheny aka Tiny is now residing in the fires of hell.

Joe Metheny talks about how he did the many girls that he killed a favor. His favorite line was "They were just drug addicted bitches with one foot on a banana peel and the other in the grave." Tony asks Metheny a question that he asks all of the serial killers he’s writing: Metheny the conman continues to whine about being broke. The episode ends with Metheny telling a story about a mother and little daughter that he met in a truck stop. It may show a side of Metheny that we never knew existed.

Metheny’s letters are so detailed and are always fascinating, putting the listener right in the middle of the story.Tiny describes how he thought he saw a ghost when describing one of the female guards. She reminded him of the 12 year old girl that was his first kill back in 1970. He lost control and his actions once again ended up with him being put in the dreaded hole. Finally he describes another of his murders that he was never caught for. In detail he discusses the killing of a prostitute while he was a trucker out on the road. Even giving details where it happened and where she is to this day. Joe always intimated that victims were readily available to over the road truckers and he took full advantage.

This episode starts with Tony reading a description of one of Joe Metheny’s chilling murders. Metheny describes why he believes his mom is at fault for him becoming a serial killer. In a letter titled “Tears of a Child” Metheny describes his childhood and how he was left on the streets of Baltimore at the age of 6 to fend for himself. Tony and Al through Metheny’s letters and phone calls prove that Metheny is a narcissistic sociopath that truly has no feelings or empathy for what he has done over the years. He totally lies about his upbringing.Metheny finally admits that he has no use for Jesus and says that “Jesus is dead and Satan rules over all of us!”

In 2013 for some unknown reason the plug was pulled on the investigation to find the cabin where Megan Emerick was buried. Tony and Manfried never gave up and decided they would use all the information that they had compiled and move ahead on their own.
