Shannon talks to Hattie Hasan MBE, a plumber with over 30 years experience, who established the first women plumbing franchise, Stopcocks, and last year launched the first UK Register for Tradeswomen. Hattie speaks candidly about her own experiences growing up in a strict and abusive environment, and how it shaped her journey. She explains how tradeswomen are vital in terms of carrying out repairs in refuges and domestic homes where abuse is taking place, and also as role models to the next generation as an opportunity for independence and empowerment.
