This is the story of Harper Rose, a local Sheriff hunting down killers in the United Cities of America. Harper lives in a world set one thousand years in the future, a world where climate collapse has come and gone, but Harper doesn't know that. In fact, nobody does. In Harper's world, everyone prays to the Goddess Gara, but no one seems to question why. Season 1 follows Harper as she hunts down a killer that is killing women all over New York City, with the help of law legend Sheriff Kane. In Season 2, Harper is back in her idyllic hometown on the coast, just taking it day by day... until someone goes missing and strange things start happening that no one can quite explain. In Season 3 everything changes and Harper has to come to grips with the fact that the world she once knew, was not what it seemed.

For Season 2 of the What Is Love Pod, I collected six stories of people outside of my immediate friend group. I invited new friends into my home, met strangers in their very own living rooms, and spoke with some of my oldest friends. What I found is that all these experiences were incredibly varied, but that everyone I spoke with intrinsically knew how to love, and to sought it out. I hope you enjoy listening to this season, as much as I loved hunting down the stories of love so I could document them. listen to love here One year ago, I abruptly left my husband after 10 years of marriage. Sitting next to him on our couch, without warning I blurted, “I want a divorce.” It shocked both of us, but I meant it. Five weeks later, I moved into a small 1-bedroom apartment in Brooklyn. A year has been enough to let the turmoil settle, and it recently dawned on me: I am 39 years old, single, co-parenting a golden retriever with my ex. This is not where I pictured myself on the cusp of 40. I feel duped. I did everything I was supposed to do. I found someone who made me feel drunk with love, and I married them. And it didn’t work. I ask myself now: How did I get here? How did this happen? Why did this happen? Why was love not enough? And what the hell is love anyway? I’m starting to think I have no idea what love is. Then again, does anybody? I decided to ask everyone I know about love, how they perceive it, and whether they believe that romantic love truly exists. I like to think with every voice I listen to, I might get closer to understanding the question: What is love?
