The guys talk about the similarities between the NFL and the NBA including how the fantasy, daily fantasy, and betting elements seem to sync up. Fensty announces his brand new SiriusXM show called “Elite Sports Game Time” with Ray Flowers and gives us a preview of it as well. The guys give out their advice on dealing with the NBA’s rest issue and how we can gain significant advantages in the betting world by using this information. It’s the biggest sporting event of the year and Jeff Mans has you covered. In this episode Jeff is covering every angle of the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers from how they were built to where they were back in their last SB meeting in 2017. Jeff gives out some of his favorite Super Bowl party games, food, drinks and other ways to make the big game enjoyable. Super Bowl 19 was the first one that Mans can remember so he takes a trip down memory lane giving out his favorite moments from every single Super Bowl from 1985 on. He discusses the oddity of the 49ers being favorites while all of the money is coming in on the Chiefs and speculates on why Vegas is siding with San Francisco. Another Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl appearance has the NFL world debating whether Patrick Mahomes is already the greatest QB or player ever. Mans weighs in with his thoughts and recaps what the biggest differences are between Mahomes and Ravens QB Lamar Jackson. As promised, Jeff reviews his preseason predictions on how all 32 NFL teams would fare this season and compares them to what really happened. He also gives one “best” moment of the season and one “worst” moment of the season for each team along the way. There was a lot to be learned from this season and it is important to identify where we went right and where we went wrong in that analysis in order to get better. As he always does, he “puts it on tape” this week with a game-by-game breakdown of his 2023-24 NFL playoff predictions including who the Super Bowl 58 champion will be. In this episode Mans is giving the most detailed and informed synopsis of the Chicago Bears conundrum with QB Justin Fields. Should the Bears keep the third year QB or should they trade him and draft USC star Caleb Williams (or another QB)? There have been a lot of opinions given already on this topic but Jeff is diving into every angle of it in order to provide the best course of action for the Bears. He reflects on some of the bigger storylines of the calendar year and looks ahead to what he believes will be one of the best pure sports years yet in 2024. Mans also gives his thoughts on the recent Dez Bryant controversy concerning a female football analyst. He discusses the real struggle that is diversifying the fantasy sports industry as well as the obstacles he himself has faced in trying to do so. Jeff also reviews the 2023 fantasy football season by going over what he has learned about each of the skill positions and how league setups need to change beginning next year.
