How do you choose what to pray for? Have you ever felt confused about which thing to focus on? 🤔 As we prepare for the ‘Month of Miracles,’ I wanted to share a realization I had about how to pray for what you REALLY want, instead of getting stuck in trying to figure it out! Have you ever wanted to understand the metaphysical meaning of the sayings of Jesus? What did he mean when he said "If thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light"? Paramahansa Yogananda, himself a Self-Realized Master, wrote a brilliant book on this subject called The Second Coming of Christ – The Resurrection of the Christ Within You. Key Learnings: 1. Paramahansa Yogananda was a Self-Realized Master who communed with Christ on a regular basis. He had an intimate relationship with him and was able to discern the deep truths and meanings in the New Testament stories. 2. Because Jesus was a Master, he knew how to materialize and de-materialize his body, as he did several times before the crucifixion. Yogananda states that Jesus was able to infuse his crucified body with Divine Light and make it a habitable place for his divine soul. 3. Did you know that this Valentine’s Day is also Ash Wednesday? Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent, a period of preparation for the miracle of Easter. Most people focus on ‘giving up’ something they enjoy for Lent, like chocolate. Since Valentine’s Day is often celebrated by giving chocolate, you might think these two holy days clash. But according to Mary Magdalene, there is a beautiful message and opportunity for you this year! In this episode, I share Mary Magdalene’s message about how Valentine’s Day is setting the tone for this year’s Lenten season, and some simple practices YOU can do to receive the benefits of this special time! Even if you don’t observe Lent, you can tune in to the seasonal change as a way to deepen your spiritual connection. Would you love a SIMPLE formula you can follow to manifest anything? Then this episode is for YOU! Do you know what a paradigm is? And why it is SO crucial to change your paradigm to change the results in your life? Here is a definition from the forward of the book I am reviewing today: “A paradigm is a mental program in your subconscious that has almost exclusive control over all your habitual behavior. Paradigms are the way you view yourself, the world and opportunity. They are how your approach change and challenges.” Once you begin to change your paradigm, your entire view of life will shift! Many are passed down to you, genetically and through your ancestors. The good news is that you are not limited to your genetics or the beliefs and experiences of your ancestors. You can change! Have you heard the saying that Spirit speaks to you as the ‘still, small voice?’ Well, in my experience, the ‘still, small voice’ of Spirit is actually your own Heart Chakra. Your Heart Chakra is whispering to you all day long…saying ‘Oooo, I would love to travel to Bali!’ or ‘Salsa dancing looks like fun…let’s do that!’ Those whisperings are the key to knowing and fulfilling your purpose! If you are one of the few who act on this guidance, congratulations! But if you are like most people, you don’t act on it, and then convince yourself that you "don’t know" your purpose.
