In the season 6 finale we are joined by our co-founders Dr Daniel Gearon and Chris Cherry. They are two individuals that have been with You Okay, Doc? from the beginning. This fascinating episode gives a snapshot on how YOD was started, including the very first crowd funder - a tough mudder! This is a behind the scenes episode and gives a candid view on the working relationship between Chris and Dan, which at the very core is why YOD is a success. Daniel's wealth of knowledge he has accumulated over the last 4 years are fascinating to listen to in this episode. Chris Cherry is a UKCP psychotherapist and a leader in his field. He is a season professional with over 30 years experience to his name. Greg O'shea - Love Island to Mental Health.

Greg O'Shea is an Olympian, TV personality and all round athlete. Greg represented his country, Ireland at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics playing Rugby 7s and was the winner on the show 'Love Island' in 2019. If that wasn't enough, Greg now is a presenter of The Six O'Clock show and is pursuing a number of ultra endurance events. Amongst all these achievements, Greg has been open about his personal struggles with mental health, his voice in this area is powerful and he is a real change maker in the mental health arena. His insights, openness, and willingness to talk about mental health in combination with his societal status is a powerful tool that saves many lives. Chris Cherry is a man that needs no introduction in the You Okay, Doc? world, but just in case. Chris is a co-founder of You Okay, Doc? a UKCP psycotherapist, with over 30 years of experience across the sector. In the 90's Chris set up the men's group and has featured in an array of media including BBC Radio 4 and the BBC News for his work. Dr Sula Windgassen - Deepening Connections

We are super honoured to have Dr Sula Windgassen as our guest this episodes. Dr Sula needs no introduction, but just in case, Sula is a health psychologist, cognitive behavioural therapist, EMDR therapist and mindfulness teacher with over 10 years of working with people who have chronic illness in the NHS, academia and private practice. If that is not enough, Sula has completed not one, but two doctoral qualifications and has experienced the impact of persistent bladder and pelvic symptoms and is a passionate advocate for women's health. Suicide in Doctors - A deeply moving and powerful YODPod episode. That is all we can say. Dr Elizabeth Sizer tragically died by suicide in 2016. She was a loving cousin to Dr Dan Gearon, our YOD CEO & Founder - and devoted sister to Kate, our inspirational podcast guest. You Okay, Doc? was created in loving memory of Dr Liz Sizer. Heartbreakingly, it is reported that a doctor takes their own life every 3 weeks in the UK - and that was before the pandemic.
