How we built it: Powering smart meter solutions in 85 countries

12/5/2022
Suffering from patchy coverage, network outages, and logistical nightmares, our partner Solar Log was wasting time and money trying to sort it all out. We supported them with global mobile connectivity, arming them with unsteered 4G multi-network SIMs so they could deploy smart meters worldwide without a worry. Plus, with access to our SIM management portal and training, connecting their customers was simplicity itself. Now they have £1.5m in revenue and have connected 85 countries worldwide. Our Sales Director Bernie McPhillips and our Managing Director Dan Cunliffe take you through how they made it all happen and why they used the tech they did to help their partner rake in the revenue.

Powering Premier League and Scottish Premiership football clubs with intelligent mobile connectivity

10/27/2022
When five different football clubs (four in the Premier League and one in the Scottish Premiership) needed connectivity for different purposes, we stepped in with intelligent mobile connectivity. Newly fitted with this weapon, they could now power their retail, training, and overseas tours without any roaming, network congestion, or remote connectivity worries. And we equipped them with different solutions depending on their situations. Like unsteered 4G Multi-network SIMs, 4G routers, and more. Plus, we made sure their connectivity was secure and their data plans were flexible. Finally the clubs’ could focus on what they do best. Our partners enjoyed great success with the projects, and fans were connected more than ever before. Our Sales Director Bernie McPhillips and our Business Development Director David Mitchell take you through how they made it all happen and why they used the tech they did to help their partner rake in the revenue.

How we built it: IoT bikes that fight climate change

7/28/2022
How do you connect 4,000 IoT bikes for a council, while making sure the connectivity consistently and reliably delivers crucial data about the city’s infrastructure? With thousands of free bikes and cycle training, Birmingham City Council set out to promote healthier, greener lifestyles for their citizens. But the sensors on the bikes needed strong, reliable connectivity, so critical information like air quality and traffic flow could be delivered, regardless of where their citizens cycled. It was clear only intelligent IoT connectivity could help, so we teamed up with our partner to deliver a solution that would make a serious impact on the city's carbon footprint and traffic congestion problem. Our Sales Director Bernie McPhillips and our Operations Director Chris Romeika tell the story of how we made it happen in our latest podcast: from the nano SIMs, to the IoT sensors, to the revenue our partner earned.

How we built it: IoT connectivity to keep construction workers safe

5/5/2022
When it comes to connectivity on construction sites, fixed lines are often out of the question. Deployment takes months, and some rural locations are simply infeasible for installation. Meanwhile, workers need connectivity not only for IT, but predictive maintenance to tell them when equipment is close to breaking and becoming a danger to use. So how do you connect temporary construction sites as quickly as possible? Join our Sales Director Bernie McPhillips and Business Development Director Rich Crossingham as they explain how we helped a partner build connectivity for both rural and temporary construction sites—all using intelligent mobile connectivity. And they’ll reveal how we saved the client hundreds of hours and thousands in costs in the process.
