Are hot cross buns, and chocolate easter eggs, a pagan distraction? Or - are they a harmless tradition and something that adds to our Christian, Easter festivities? Welcome back to the podcast. Today I'm going to share with you 3 unique family-friendly ways that you can celebrate Easter. I’ve always felt that Easter for Christians should be the biggest celebration on the Christian calendar - even bigger than Christmas. Like Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15 if Christ has not been raised then our faith is in vain, we are still in our sins and we are of all people most to be pitied. But Christ has been raised, our faith is not in vain, if we have repented and trusted in Christ our sins have been forgiven and that is why Christians celebrate Easter. So in my home, with my family, I’ve aimed to make Easter an extra special and memorable time of year. Don’t leave it for your church’s Easter service, don’t leave up to the Sunday school, let’s celebrate/remember what Christ did for us, at Easter, outside of Sunday.
